 We may have finally found our QB. And his mentor Chad Pennington

who I have been critical of in the past, Because lack of arm strength

But he may be accurate enough to move the chains with Ricky and

Ronnie. Which leaves me opptimistic as a lifelong Dolfan searching for

mariono's replacement. But in all i think Henne should become the starter

after week 6. With my predictions correct we should be 4-2 after 6 which

keeps us in the hunt. but at some point we will need to go long and throw

down the field you can't always throw to the checkdown receiver. :foundout:
Let's get chad and mccown as his back up's so we can throw down field.

Ginn Jr is usually tipp toeing off the line which causes him to be jammed

way to often leaving him for a short route. Wilford goes deep and

pennington goes short. Henne has impressed me ever since draft day and

my whole point is we have found the right Chad Although I think sadly It

will be the wrong guy on week 1. We have three slot receivers in Ginn

Camarillo Bess, Id rather us get Glenn and Moss and use wilford deep

against the jets and the only way we'll see that is if Henne is our man so

get used to seeing short tony romo type passes till we make or transition

from chad to chad. :( But hopefully our new D can put jet Brett on his

back he'll go 12-26 225 2 int and we can move the chains and Upset brett

and the jet's. :kick:

I agree with you about Henne, the rest of the post, it gave me a headache, LOL.

GO PHINS~!

I disagree, Henne should not start at all this year, yes he looked good last game, again against second stringers. Lets not do what we did to Beck, Penny is good enough this year and next year we can see where Henne is at.

Wow. Yee of little sense.

Explain this to me.

Why the hell would we switch out from Penny if we're 4-2. That would mean we would at least be 2-2 in our first four games--our hardest stretch. If Chad gets us to 4-2, he will have almost assured himself the starting job for the rest of the year.

Guy, if you're the QB that took a 1-15 team to a 4-2 start, YOU ARE NOT LOSING YOUR JOB! I DON'T CARE HOW GOOD THE BACK UP IS!

I disagree, Henne to me was just as poised in the pocket, showed a stronger arm, sold the play action pump fakes well, And his only mistake in my opinion was a lineman missed his block, which led to one of their scores Inside the our own 20. Besides that, Chad can't run as fast as Henne. Has way more interceptions on underthrows on jumpballs, slants, fades, he shows way more zip on his throws to wilford, Camarillo. And I don't consider Chad Henne a John beck, he's way more experinced in big games against BIG COMPETITION. And to me Henne is a better leader than we're giving him credit.
