WHile im still in favor of giving Beck a shot this year, NFL.com has an article from Ireland HERE where they state Chad is going to get a shot at becoming the starter THIS year.
So I started looking over pre-draft talk, stats and some videos Honestly I knew his name and not much more, but after looking at the stats and videos Im really happy with the pick.
STATS

The knocks on him is that he is kinda stiff in the pocket, and has an average career completion ratio in the 60's over 4 years and while that is not great his QB rating over 4 years was 132,129,143,130 averaged over 20 TD a year with an Average 6 INT per year I would take a 20/6 TD to INT rating!
Everyone in Miami is looking for the BIG play offense and Sadly we are not going to employ that kind of offense. We are going to use the RUN to setup the pass it looks like with the building process.
Short passes and runs and a few deep balls mixed in. Chad Fits this Perfect he has a quick release and already has a comfort level with his starting Left tackle and Long already knows his tendencies as well.
Every can pick him apart, but IF beck does not become the man we now have at least an Above average QB on the roster in Henne.
Hes got good decision making skills and student of the game, like Beck but with a Bigger College 9 come from behind wins and was cool in all those games. He raked up 373 yrds against Florida in their bowl game.
Lets not forget Dan Marino was stiff in the pocket!
Lets see what happens from all accords Chad is WHO they wanted all along...and these guys do their homework!
Just remember that alot of time top 10 QB's etc are busts in the NFL and some mid and unknowns excel it's all about the system and the talent you have. I think with a year or two under Bills belt we will have alot of talent around here and a QB ready to take advantage of those opportunities.
