Wonder where he'd be ranked without the garbage time INT. I guess he did have a dropped INT but guys like Sanchez get 2-3 of those a game.
Told you he s more talented than Sanchez. Better arm, better accuracy and its really not close. After this year u won't be able to argue it. He finally has a competent coordinator, still doesn't have a run game like Sanchez but this year he won't have 16 less dropped interception than Sanchez. You seen what happened when they tried winning the game thru the air against a beat up crappy cowboys secondary. Thank goodness for u the rest of ur team makes up for Sanchez lack of talent. The garbage time INT was cancelled out by the garbage time TD.

You lost by 14 pts and if not for a garbage time TD it would have been 21, Sanchez led his team into NE in the div rd, threw 3 TDs and led his team to the win. This position is not about #s, it's about making plays to win games and again Henne failed to do that even though he looked mmuch better overall.
I agree with you Junc but lets not forget this was Henne’s first rodeo in the new offense. If Miami had trusted one of their backs to get that one yard it’s a completely different story here. Not saying we win, I’m pretty confident Brady drives back down the field and makes it a 14 point game again, but at least Henne gets a much needed TD that’s not in garbage time. I know shoulda, coulda, woulda I’m just saying lets see how he does going forward. Pretty hard to compare him to anyone who’s had continuity over the last 3, 4 or 11 seasons at this point especially when he doesn’t have an RB they trust to get a ½ yard. Not saying he will definitely get better, he may get worse as teams get film on Miami’s new offense, just saying I’m willing to give him a chance now which is a far cry from where I was on about week 5 of 2010.
It continues to boggle my mind how Jets fans think they have the second coming of Joe Montana in Mark Sanchez.... For the last 2 years they have had an elite defense, even without a pass rush, a very solid Offensive line, and above average RBs in Thomas Jones, LT, and Greene.... all the while Sanchez's stats and what he's been asked to do have been very minimal. Now I'm in no way touting Henne as the next Dan Marino... far from it.... but I think that if you straight up swapped Sanchez for Henne right now... The Jets are still as good as they were the last 2 years if not a bit better... and the Fins are still what they would be with Henne.
If Rob Ryan actually took a page from his brother and didn't play prevent defense before the half allowing Sanchez to march the team down the field.... His numbers could have easily been sub 55% completion and sub 300 yds passing..... The cowboys front 7 is elite... but when you are down a starting CB, lose another in the first quarter, and have Mike Jenkins hobbled worse than Dez Bryant all game, the back 4 might actually be worse than the Pats.
Until Rex and Shotty take the reigns off of the offense, Sanchez will be viewed as a game manager like Chad Pennington by most of the league as opposed to an elite QB talent like most of Jets nation believe he is.
Hey, it's still a long season; if we're like the jest last yr, we'll face the Pats twice more. Hopefully, unlike them though, on the next go-around we won't lose 45-3 and Henne won't have about a 50% completion rate and throw zero TDS and 3 Ints. Relatively speaking, we've done a hell of a lot better than that already, so it's encouraging. (a FG whether it's in "garbage time" or not.. is pretty damn pathetic).

This stat is a joke. You can't sit there and tell me Brady didn't have the best passing game of anyone week one.
