Chad Henne vs. Ryan Tannehill: A Scary Thought?

100% proof that OP doesnt actually watch football and only reads the box scores the day after.

I remember seeing the same comments here about Chad Henne at the time.

Obviously it wasn't so easy to see on the field.

Depends on whos comments you were reading.

Clean your loupe.

What your statistics don't show is that Ryan Tannehill was 3-1 in those first four games with the wins against opponents that have won 65% of their games. Henne was 2-2 with the wins against opponents that won 31% of their games.
Are we attributing wins and losses exclusively to the QB?

Exactly what conclusion do you see being made in the original post?

The same "eye test" was said to be "passed" by Chad Henne at the time.

Perhaps by folks like you who are without clues. If you "got real" you wouldve known that Chad Henne was hot garbage no matter what the stats said. Perhaps someone from Bleacher Report told us that Henne was good because of his stats and the masses listened, but guys who really knew their stuff were wise to Chad Henne's misleading numbers.

Same stuff that was said here when people were comparing Chad Henne to John Beck and Jay Fiedler based on statistics.

Uhh..Based on your stats..the only variables were QB's..so yea.
Did you see wins and losses in the original post?

When I see your title "Who farted?" I ask the same question myself because a good majority of your posts and threads stink like ****.

Did you see wins and losses in the original post?

Did you see any running backs in your original posts?

I am pointing out the opposition Tannehill faced in his first four games was much tougher than what Henne faced. I also don't recall Henne leading a final drive that ended with him throwing a touchdown pass to win the game.

Where do you see that happening in this particular thread?

In the original post there is nothing but data. There is no analysis.

That is the problem shour, while I give it to you that your data is sound and well presented, data is used to prove or disprove a theory and a theory is formed from observation or thought. The conditions of the data have to be bounded.

Henne might have similar numbers over a similar stretch but if you watch the games you see two completely different QB's. Henne has zero potential to become a franchise QB while Tannehill has that potential:

Pick a franchise QB from my below list with a sample size of 4 games this season.

Keep in mind the results are only on a sample size of four games this season.

You're correct that Henne didn't pass for any winning TDs in the first for games of 2010. However, the following week, he led the team to a 4th-quarter tie and an overtime win in Green Bay, against the eventual Super Bowl champions that year.

Against a Green Bay team that was riddled with injury.

And how is the relevant to Ryan Tannehill?
It's relevant to determining the board's ability to accurately assess the likelihood of the long-term success of a Dolphins QB based on its members' "vision" alone.
