chad henne vs ryan tannenhill, how much better is tannenhill?

let's hope he's a monster compared to henne. Henne had no emotion or leadership qualities
 
There's really not much of a comparison here at all other than they're both white and are about the same size/height. Other than that they are completely different types of QB's.
 
Henne got his chance and didnt do much. Lets hope Tannehill does much better.
 
henne just never got it.
he had time to develop into a starting qb on this team but each year he got a little worse than the last year.i almost bought a henne jersey after his first season then watched the next year and just knew he did not have what it would take to be a starter on this team or even any team.
 
Aside of the fact that both men were drafted by Dolphins, play at QB, have similar haircut and skin-tone, there are few resembles among them as players.

Chad Henne is a 100% pocket passer, owns one of the most powerful arms in the league, but his passes are impressive cannonballs lacking of touch.
On the other side, Ryan Tannehill has fine arm power but his greatest virtue is throwing in motion, he's a scrambler and can make every single throw.

Chad lacks of full field vision, his NFL experience allows him to read the defense before the snap, but he tends to focus on the receivers not the defenders.
Ryan has excellent field vision, but being a rookie he'll have troubles trying to read defenses before the snap.

None of these men are RAH-RAH guys, never expect them to guide chants before a game and they are control-freaks leaders with cold blood.
Henne is a shy guy with poor communication skills, almost robotic. He is focused on bettering himself and always blames nobody else but himself.
Meanwhile Tannehill has more charisma, is a responsible guy but easily forgives himself, arguing he focuses on bettering not blaming. He's excited to meet each guy on the roster, wants to better each of his teammates and he understands communication is key piece for success in a team-sport. Also Ryan can be vocal when required.
Another similitude is both aren't selfish players, and want to cooperate under the principle that there isn't "I" in "TEAM".

Henne has developed a strong commitment for the game and is a hard worker, he learned well from Chad Pennington, specially on how to use videos to improve.
Tannehill is a football genius with impressive knowledge and love for football, but he still might require some guidance while studying on the film room.

Finally Chad Henne choose to focus on learning football over being a family guy, then he married and has balanced his life.
Ryan Tannehill is a smart risk taker who early married a wonderful lady and he says now he's focused on becoming a great football player. Can you blame him?

Pocket Awareness/Poise - Tannehill, he seems pretty savy back there and aware already. A natural. Henne still seems oblivious.

Mobility/Athleticism - Was surprised with Henne this season the way he moved around, but let's be honest, Tannehill is already one of the more athletic QB's in the NFL.

Toughness - Henne was robot, but you could tell things got to him mentally and phsyically. Tannehill has displayed his toughness as a wideout and plays the QB position the same way. I think he wins in mental and physical toughness

Size - Both are prototype size, but tannehill in better shape. Henne has bigger hands.. your call. Tie?

Personality - Both seem like dorks, Tannehill is a little more country? TIE?

I agree with all of your post except the red highlighted. Chad Henne is 2 inches shorter than Ryan Tannehill (6' 2" vs 6' 4"), and Henne's hands measured 8 1/4 inch versus Tannehill's 9 inch hands. Those are pretty big differences, IMO.

I did not know henne's hands were that small. wow and people have concerns about Tannehills?
