Now, though, Henne is Miami's most clearly identified quarterback-of-the-future since Marino left the building. As such, Henne has a wish list should, for example, Dolphins czar Bill Parcells ask his advice on using this year's first-round (12th overall) NFL Draft pick.
"A big receiver," Henne said. "Somebody who's 6-3 and can run. I like our receivers, but we don't have a power guy, We do a lot of finesse stuff."
Hmmm. A 6-3 burner.
Sounds like a Braylon Edwards, who was Henne's teammate at Michigan.
"I didn't say Braylon," Henne said, "but somebody like him would be good."
Somebody like him would be better than good.
Somebody like him would be another element toward getting Henne to a Super Bowl as a participating quarterback rather than one left to shake his head at the radio-row media glut in his NFL home city.
Mr. Parcells?

Too bad he wont get his wish with 12. Im much more inclined to give a 3rd for Boldin. I mean its only a third, and buys us a few more years.

The more I look over the top 11 teams in the draft order, the more it looks like Dez Bryant may very possibly be there at #12. I think it all boils down to KC and DEN. If DEN doesn't trade Marshall and KC feels they are fine with Bowe and Chambers and decide to better the OL instead....I think Bryant is ours.

I think KC has bigger problems than it's WRs (their OL is baaaad.). So I don't think they'll go for Bryant. And I think in the end, Marshall will stay in Denver. So I think Bryant will be there for the taking. But I don't think Miami will take him.

If we could get Boldin for a 3rd I'd do it. Then I'd take a LB/DE in round one and a NT in round 2. I still think Cody will be there in the 2nd and I'd take a chance.

WARNING MADDEN TRADE IDEA:
1st round pick, 3rd round pick, Ted Ginn and Joey Porter to Denver for
Elvis Dumervil and Brandon Marshall

haha No seriously, we have a big need at WR. I'd love Bryant at 12, or a trade down for Golden Tate, Gilyard or Benn.
If we can get Boldin or Marshall at a discount I would not be too upset either.

I'm pretty sure all qb's want a guy that's 6-3 and can outrun everyone on the field. All I got to say to bill and co. is what are you waiting for?

they were waiting for Dez Bryant or if they were high enough the would have had Michael Crabtree last year
