Chad Henne was hurried 18 times

As the game is evaluated its nice to see that Henn's performance is becoming more impressive.

To bad it was over shadowed by what Brady did.

Oh, and the Pats were missing their starting RT and C and we couldnt cause Brady to move so much as one step.

It's insane. Didn't they dress like 6-7 linemen? Missing their STARTING RT and center and except for 2 plays, couldn't come close to being able to reach him with a bionic arm extension.

even big jake struggled some in pass pro from what i saw...henne took a really bad tight red zone sack that was imo all on the qb...got to throw the ball away there...

worst part pats don't really have any what i'd call high end pass rusher talent on that team...just wait til we face teams that do...it will be a blood bath

Can you imagine Mario Williams, Elvis Dummerville, Osi, Orakpo and Ware against Columbo? Thats our upcoming schedule

they had all kinds of pressure in hennes face from the interior. he had to get rid of the ball quickly. go back and watch
\

I was at the game; I was mostly impressed with Myron Pryor who was probably the most consistent dlineman.

agreed...he may not make it to the bye week...way too much pressure in and around his legs...and that bonejarring sack by wilfork...well i'm surprised he got up...

the hit by Fletcher on 3rd down was the scariest hit imo. I thought it was leg injury.

let me throw another piece of wood on this fire...we can't run the ball to save our lives which means in order to make plays we are gonna have to continue to show spread looks so you can't just say we'll keep in extra protection on this play to help the oline...you're gonna see a lot of 5 lineman and bush in the backfield and like he's gonna stop any snot blowing d lineman from beheading henne...

all i can say is better keep fasano in as much as possible on colombos side and hope the carnage only claims one qb this season...theres no way we can drop back 40 times a game plus to pass and this oline keep henne healthy...none...he'll be scrambled eggs

the spreads nice...if you can protect the qb...if you can't...well...go with god chad henne

I don't know about that. Say what you will about the guy but he's pretty goddamn tough. It takes a lot to knock him out of a game and it always has. Jay Cutler was getting thrown down the stairs every week last year and outside of the New York game where he was sacked like 8 times in a half he always kept coming out there. He had to tear something in his knee pretty much to get him out. But that's Cutler. He's made of scrap iron. Henne also has that kind of toughness, imo.

Mario Williams is not the big danger on the Texans, in my view. The Colts single blocked him with their RT Jeffery Linkenbach in four man rush situations and he did fine.

The danger is JJ Watt. That guy is a wrecking ball out there. So far of what I've seen of the Texans vs. Colts tape, he's the best player on that defense. No joke. Better than Cushing, Ryans, Williams, Smith, Barwin, Joseph. All of 'em. The guy is simply dominant.

I saw Jake get thrown to the ground like a ragdoll on some plays.. scary.

Well, if Mario Willams isnt our biggest worry, this could be ugly.

Yup, and I sure he will be facing Columbo and Carey and even Richie....It could get ugly in the middle..

Based on his alignment against the Colts he'll mostly be facing Incognito (hello, multiple holding penalities). On a four man rush against a five man protection the Colts have chosen to double team Watt on every play so far that I've watched. Barwin, Brown and Williams have all been single blocked. Antonio Smith is another quick lineman who will give Carey problems.

It's a very good front four. A bigger challenge to our offensive line than the Patriots were, imo.
