You can talk about all the things that Chad Henne did tonight...his accuracy (20/26), his two touchdowns, 240+ yards, or even his 130.4 QB rating—a rating that Mr. Marino was only able to eclipse once in his glorious career.

But the statistic that really matters in this young man's career is the big goose egg he had in the turnover column.

0 TURNOVERS

I can't stress how important this is for a young man's confidence in today's NFL. Turning the ball over is the quickest way to a spot on the bench. Henne wasn't careless throwing the ball and he wasn't wreckless scrambling. Whether or not you choose to believe it or not, we played a very good defense tonight and Henne didn't get pressured into making terrible mistakes.

Those of you who wrote Henne off as a bust before he ever got a chance to prove himself, at least give the young man some props. I'm not saying he's the next big star here in teh NFL just yet, but he certainly impressed the hell out of me tonight.

Hats off to Chad Henne for a job well done.

He was extremely impressive tonight. He made a ton of great decisions, such as throwing the ball away.

The other stat that I found great tonight was that there were 0 sacks.

He's played excellent in his first 2 starts. Consider me impressed.

Dan Marino only had a better QB rating than what Henne had only once...kind of an interesting stat.

The O line pass blocked much better than they have.
I like the way when he doesnt like his first 2 reads he just checks down to get a positive gain. He has a lil Penny in him when it comes to that.
His deep ball to Ginn was on point.

No way we win that game with Penny. Most of the throws he made are not in Penny's arsenal.

So you still won't say we found a QB. Everyone in the stands tonite was saying it!!!!!

I'm not ready to proclaim him as the next great thing just yet. You need a larger sample size and you need consistency. Hell, Mark Sanchez has played amazingly and I think he played very well tonight but you have Jet fans claiming tonight that he's a bust. Chad Henne is the starter for the rest of the year without a doubt. He has to continue working hard, making smart decisions with the football and we have to keep him upright. If we do that, he'll gain confidence and experience and he can grow into a great QB in this league eventually.

Well before today, I wasn't sold that Henne was a franchise QB. I did support and hoped he could be that some day but wasn't confident in his abilities. Today he showed a lot, and definitely proved that we don't need to look at any QB's next draft.

Lets not compare Henne to Marino just yet. He's won 2 games as a starter.

BUT he looked great tonight! And yes, I'm excited at the possibility that we've found our QB for a long long long time. But we really dont know that yet.
He wasn't pressured much at all tonight, which made him look even better. [btw Huge Props to the O-Line for that!].

Gotta be honest, the most impressive thing I find about Henne is the way he stands in there against the blitz. He anticipates pressure and reacts like no other QB I've seen making his second start. Pocket presence is one thing that can't be measured in the combines but can a lot of times be the difference in a bust or a star. Henne seems to have it like few I have ever seen at his level of experience. It's obviously too early to tell if it projects to greatness or not, but I see it as a sign that he could be at some point.

All you have to do to gain respect for his presence and poise is to see that throw that he made to Fasano at the goal-line with a blitzer right in his face. Or see the fantastic throw to Camarillo to get that first down within the five to give Ronnie a chance to win the game. The only other Fins QB I saw in recent years who could make those kind of great plays under pressure was Chad Pennington, which is why I liked him so much. But Henne is really making those plays that were Pennington's M-O, and then doing those things that Pennington wasn't able to do.

Fantastic job so far, and let's hope he can continue to build on this and if hiccups do occur, use his superb performance tonight to keep his confidence high.
