Would you take him with the first pick in the second round?

I could see Henne fall to 64. I would like to see us trade down first round, get a second rounder in top 10, get a OT and then Flacco around 40 or so...Get a great OLB guy in round 1, get your OT, then QB, then find yourself a nice ILB (Jonathan Goff) and TE (Cottam) at 57 and 64.

Anyone remember what happened to the last Michigan QB to be picked in the 2nd round? Yeah, I'll pass on Henne.

i heard many rumors about Flacco being a crybaby.

if they're true, id rather get Henne or Booty. Fact is, even if we draft a QB, i dont think theyll be starters, not with Beck here. Beck IS good, he showed great maturity, great throws, decision making. his OL sucked, he had no run or pass support...give him an OL, RB, WR, TE...and he'll do GREAT.

any QB we draft is just gonna be a backup

2nd 2nd round pick but not 32 I think DRC will be there at 32 and we should take him

Too much value with that pick to be spent on Henne. It's almost like drafting him in the first round.

Besides I'd rather spend it on the best player available. (Albert, DRC, Cason)

considering the only Michigan QBs to never make a pro bowl that were drafted are Todd Collins,Drew Henson, and John Navarre tells me nothing. And atleast Collins has had a long career, albeit as a back up.

Elvis Grbac,Brian Griese, Jim Harbaugh, and Tom Brady have all made pro bowls in their careers and have had some type of success.

So if you're talking about Todd Collins, it is a horrible comparison since Henne is nothing like Collins.

And as a Michigan fan, I would love to see Henne in Aqua, but as a Fin fan I think it all depends on who is available at 32.

That's dumb logic. Yatil Green was a first round pick out of UM, he was injury-prone and a bust. Reggie Wayne was a first round pick out of UM.

I'm glad we passed on Wayne.:rolleyes2:

I would take him with the 2B pick but not the overall # 32.
