Chad Henne

Chad Henne is going to be a very good QB in this league for a long time.

The kid has the "it" factor that can't be taught.. Either you have it or you don't.

And this kid has it.............. As I posted when I started threads about him here right after he was drafted.

You were also very high on Beck and also started threads about how great Beck was going to be.

You know a broken clock is right twice a day.

I think we have all seen enough of Henne to know he is a future Hall of Famer. The guy is clutch when you need 3 pts against a 4th string D. Unfortunately this isnt basketball and until I see him in a real game I will hold any judgement on him.
My guess is if Pennington stays healthy we wont see Henne for 2 years.

Chad Henne looks good...he is better then John Beck....plus once Pennington retires...henne will be there to take over miami

Chad Henne looks like he belongs in the NFL. His arm reminds me a lot of Cutler in Denver, I'm impressed with his ability to get hit and still sling it.

Henne is impressive so far; thanks for going to the trouble of enlightening everyone who thinks 2 exhibitions do not make a career. By the same token, FYI, you're falling far short of the legendary SS, not necessarily in intent, but definitely in execution, so here's one for you too:

This is for those of you that cannot see the difference between how John Beck and Chad Henne play football.

If you cannot see it nothing can be said to make you understand.

However, I do have something to help you begin to understand.

Again, you are trying to stir up a debate that doesn't exist.
The issue is whether Beck is an NFL caliber QB (backup or otherwise).
Some of those who thanked you for your post have come out and stated emphatically that he's not and have even gotten quite personal.
The argument I (and others) have made is that it's too early to tell what we have in Beck and it would be foolish to cut him at this point. Has absolutely nothing to do with Henne.
You are trying to instigate another negative thread.
For the record, I'm of the opinion that some players develop differently than others and some require 2-3 yrs (Brees, Carson Palmer etc.) to reach their potential.
I am against releasing any early rd draft pick after only their 2nd TC (regardless of position).
Tampa Bay has 5-6 QB's on the roster so I don't see what the hurry is having to release any QB. This is a situation where the FO can afford to be patient. If they are shopping him for a draft pick that's fine. I think he can succeed in a different system. In fact, I think he could actually compete for the starting job in San Fran or KC.
Henne, looks to me to have the makings of a future pro bowler so the fact that Beck may not be as good is irrelevant.
There are plenty of solid QB's in the league who aren't Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.

henne better be good. He has the makings of a good QB. Strong arm, accurate, and he's a big QB. But we cants send him out there this year no matter how mentally tough he is. We need to sit him for 2 years so he can learn the playbook. Then when he's ready he'll come out and dominate.
