Chad Johnson 4.4

Top 5 in the league? lol. No. You could maybe make the argument for top 5 wide receivers but even then, likely not. Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Vincent Jackson are all more physically gifted than Marshall and that's off the top of my head. D. Thomas from the Broncos is a better athlete as well.

edit: Oh wow you even said past 20 years. What now? Mario Williams, Vernon Davis and Calvin Johnson are likely the most physically gifted players in the NFL today...

Brandon Marshall is a physical freak of nature.

And I'm not a fan of Marshall at all. Was glad to see him go.

But physically speaking Brandon Marshall is up there.

Not buying that if the mort report tweeted it as the holy Jerry jones driven, espn dramafying, Roger goodell approved, honest to goodness gospel.

Yeah, true story. Gimme a sec, let me get out of my bat mobile and feed my mermaid :rolleyes2:

If he has 4.4 speed why was he traded in the first place? I don't buy it.

Well, he wasn't traded for...he was signed as an UFA... The question with Ocho is going to be whether he can gain the trust of the personnel and coaches here...that will require him to put in the time to learn the playbook...the good thing for him is that he'll be learning it along with everyone else...

He's a freak of nature, no doubt. But he's not a top 5 WR because his stats simply don't support that. He's always disappeared in the red zone (even with the great Cutler in Denver) and his TD production is very lacking. That alone takes him out of the top 5 rankings...

I still remember a interview Chad did when he was asking about his combine time (this was after a pro bowl apperance) and he replied "Cmon now....do I look like a 4.5 kinda guy?"

Made me laugh.

But back on topic, I highly doubt they had the high tech set up for his 40 time like they do at the combine. Hand clocked 40's are notorious for being +/- .2 seconds off. Always depends if the guy clocking you stop time a shy early, or a shy late. With that being said, if he really is a 4.6 guy he could of been clocked anywhere from 4.4 to a 4.8

Who gives a **** what 40 time he ran in shorts? Has nothing to do with playing the game of football or learning our playbook.......
