I don't have any kids. This is a 'scenario', I said 'picture this'. Borrow someone else's imagination and try and keep up. :d-day:

The point I am obviously not getting across here is that he needs to be smarter. He is going to offend and alienate 'HIS FANS', and potential fans.

He gets a cut of his teeshirt sales along with his marketed image.

The Dolphin's set up a conference for him and this is how he treated it.

I could care less how much he curses, but cursing in a press conference for absolutely no reason at all, while you are at your EMPLOYERS LOCATION, WEARING YOUR UNIFORM, UNDER THE EMBLEM OF A BILLION DOLLAR A YEAR ORGANIZATION like the NFL is unforgivably stupid & will obviously have repurcussions.

Yes, that was your premise in the sense that YOU set up the senario (DUH!). And it was flawed. I find it ironic that you tell me to try to keep up when you clearly don't even understand the meaning of the words you yourself are using.

Furthermore, Chad WASN'T in uniform during that Press Conference , which he apparently didn't want to do anyway. If you are complaining about him dropping the F-Bomb during practice when he was in uniform then what about Jake long? He WAS in uniform when he dropped the F-Bomb twice and said "sh%t" 3 other times. Is he a child? Is he alienating his potential fans? Does he need to be smarter?

This all wreaks of haters doing what they do, hating.

OK smart guy, picture this scenario in your mind if you can...

Picture a ten year old kid who just LOVES Chad, I mean he loves EVERYTHING about him. He pesters his parents for WEEKS to get them to fork over $100 on a Chad Johnson Dolphins jersey.

He somehow manages to convince his parents to let him watch Hard Knocks because, you know, 'Chad' will be there & he is just the COOLEST player around.

Is this your real point? cause if it is...then the "kids" parents are failing...who did not see the last hard knocks with the jets and saw all the media it was getting from rex? As a paent, you should have known this is a rated R show, its on late night to avoid children, and its ment for adults. If my son loved a player so much, and somehow conviced me to stay up past his bed time on a school night ( which should be more important ) and watch this show...then I have no one to blame then myself for allowing my kid to watch this show. This is exactly whats wrong with society these days...always blaming someone else for your failure as a parent... man up!

I do not understand his reasoning for swearing ever second or third word. When he's doing a press conference he represents this team...and how he presents himself reflects on this organisation. All he did was make himself look like an inarticulate moron. He could've very easily put the same points across with the swearing. I have no problem whatsoever with being charismatic and addressing the media...but remember you're a professional athlete for a professional team. Show some class and be PROFESSIONAL.
