What do you think is his value in the open market??? CJ as always been one of my favorite players and i would love to get him down here for the right price...id give our 3rd or 4th this year for him
 
Honestly hear me out on this one. You know who Ireland is looking for that #1 WR, could it be CJ? I maybe talking out my butt now, but it maybe as if they are planning something around CJ.
 
ok ok ok hang on he is 30 right? and his problem is not money its winning... HE WOULD NOT WANT TO COME HERE!! i know i know he said miami before but what do you think he will say when we are 2 and 6?
 
I'd give our second from chambers trade to san diego....he has always had better numbers and always will, it would be like a straight up trade, chambers for CJ, and if you wouldnt want that your crazy....yeah, yeah, yeah, hes a cancer but he has never done anything illegal outside of football and it is only because the bengals orginzation is a bunch of jackasses and dont have the competive drive like he does to win. Cancer or not everytime he is in the game he makes plays and is one of the best if not the best player/playmaker on the field and his teamates love him (they might not like him anymore but thats because of this whole mess)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
id give our second pick in the second for him cuz that would be like trading chambers for johnson and to me that is laughable
 
I have the solution:

Give the Bengals our first overall pick for the Bengals 9th overall pick + Chad Johnson.

With the 9th pick we could get Sedrick Ellis or Clady the LT from Boise State.
 
Think about this he complains about having Carson Palmer a top 5 quaterback in the NFL, think of what he would do to John Beck. So with that in mind he would be worth about nothing
 
I really would love to have him and he would ,ake us a legit offense with a couple of OLINE and a TE in the draft. But I heard on ESPN today from Clayton that the Bengals have been offered a 1st and 2nd round pick for him so unless we are willing to switch places in the first I dont think we have a shot at him. He is worth a 1st round pick and maybe even a 1st and 2nd pick but I dont know I just know what Randy Moss did for the Pats and Chad could do that for us. We havent had a real legit reciever sinve Clayton and Duper how many years ago. Gadsen , Chambers, McDuffie these guys couldnt hold Chads Jock Strap.
 
The Dolphin's aren't going to trade anything to get ocho, but I think the bigger question is, will ANY team really want him at this point?

The Raiders already over spent for a WR this off-season. There is NO way that Shanahan wants him especially after all of the WR head cases he has dealt with in the past few seasons.

Green Bay would never sign him, Dallas is the only team I can think of that might want him, and they already have TO.
 
a first and a second for him is insane and im sure that hasnt been offered...randy went for a 4th last year in a similar situation...the bengals dont have alot to negotiate on and its best for them to rid this immediately....i know its a long shot for him to ccome here but id love to see it...3rd or 4th or our #1 for CJ #9 and a 3 or 4
 
Not that it's gospel or anything but it was either Adam Schein or Pat Kirwin on Sirius saying it would take at least a 1st for Chad and also that it would only be a $3 million cap hit. I've also heard it would be $8 mil and don't agree he's worth that high a pick, i'm just passing on what they've been saying.
