Chad Johnson, by the way, spoke the media for the first time since camp opened. It was, shall we say, different. He's engaging, entertaining, enlightening and potty mouthed -- yeah, he uses curse words easily, I don't know if it's for effect or not.Anyway, the audio is below. Half way into the Chad @Ochocinco interview and this is the best press conference I have heard in years by a #Dolphins player. I really hope Chad Johnson can deliver on the field cause he is giving a team that had no personality some SERIOUS personality right now. One thing is for certain @Ochocinco is not taking this opportunity for granted, the man has a chip on his shoulder. Im Rooting hard for him. I guarantee you that reporters, players & coaches will tell you it is a blessing to have Ochocinco in the Fins locker room after having to deal with Marshall. @Ochocinco is Football, The attitude, the cursing, the personality, the weirdness. 5 Star Press Conference & one of the best ever by a Dolphins player

God Ive never seen so many disclaimers. We get it, he used a couple of profane words. Good lord.
 
You have say it he is a funny guy...............doing music, doing weed **** like that, funny guy. plus he want's to go into porn when he finnish football.......lol
 
I'm happy Chad is being Chad. Clearly the NE shackles affected his level of comfort. If we want him to perform, we need to let him be himself.

What I liked was the fact that he wants to win and he wants to be a leader. He says he's never really taken on the role of a leader and that's what this team needs in that department.

Also you can tell the respect he has for this coaching staff is genuine. About time.
 
This isn't a direct quote because I'm just going off of memory... Chad: "I'm always looking into a second job, if this doesn't work out I'm going to get into porn" Reporter: "I don't think your wife would be too happy about that" Chad: "She'd have to understand... I've got to provide!"

I really think the most telling part of the interview, the part that showed what kind of person he really is, was when he said last year he was with the best coach/QB combination in the league and for whatever reason he didn't produce. The willingness to show respect for what BB/Brady have accomplished, rather than throwing out some random insult, shows me that he still respects the game. It also shows the open wound and how much it hurt not being able to succeed up there. I think we are going to get the benifit of all the motivation that failure in NE gave him.

To say the least he is an interesting character. Too bad we don't still have Ricky, between Ricky and Chad they could sell tickets to watch the interviews. :lol:
 
I love Chad Johnson. He's the heart of my twitter feed. Nothing makes me more frustrated than the No Fun League approach to football these days, and he is as close to an antidote to that as it gets. I am happy to drink the Kool-Aid and hope that he becomes our #1 and gets over 1000 yards.
 
Really enjoyed that have to say, thanks for posting. Chemistry in a locker room is vital and I think Chad can be a real positive influence on that. Despite the headlines and all he has generated he is a good team player.

Loved it.

Laughed hard when he said he would take all the receivers to Tootsie's (strip club for the non South Florida folks)
