How would you guys feel about having Chad Johnson on our team. I know he talks too much and all but he is a gamebreaker type reciever. Would Parcells welcome a guy like this on the roster. We all know how bad we need WR help. I'm not saying we should trade for him, but mabye in the offseason we could make a move. Sounds like he might be on his way out of Cincy.

Here we go again!?!?!?! If we wanted to go after chad we would have gone after him in the offseason when he said "parcells call me!" .........Mods can we please get rid of these misleading threads and start monitoring some of this same stuff that keeps coming up every two or three months that is just pipe dreams.

no thanks

chad needs to go to a contender. This team has even less talent then the team he's already on. Guys like this or like TO are good teammates when they are winning and bad teammates when they are not. Whilst it's probable we will be a better team next year then we are this year, it's still more likely and realistic that we will still have a ways to go till we're an elite team, which means we will probably not win enough and then next thing you know chads blaming our line or qbs, etc. I think parcells hated TO and would be very reluctant to bring in another big mouth prima doña receiver, especially one we'd have to trade a high draft pick for.

Better would be to sign Roy Williams from the lions who will be a free agent st year then draft someone like crabtree if depressinly enough we are in position to next year which sure seems possible at this point.

Your title was misleading like you were asking if Chad Johnson was a dolphin? I mean 90% of the people on this thread and dolfans in general would like an upgrade at wide receiver but we have beaten these bring in Anquan, Chad, Roy Williams threads to death. It just feels like were circling and no new information is being posted about it thats all!

No thanks, we do not need the garbage he carries with him. With guys like Roy Williams and I think TJ houzyourmomma becoming FA, if we want a top reciever, we can get one without giving up draft picks.

Amen that all i hear on this thing!! Whats next, "Would u guys want Payton Manning on the team?? I know he requires alot of money but should we try to get him??" Thats all this forums has is questions like that

Joey Porter x's 2 and someone who would point fingers in the locker room when things do not go the right way. Like Moss and T.O. Chad needs to be on a successful team to flourish, something we are not and won't be for a while.

Yeah, people said that about TO when he was avaliable and guess what...How would TO make this team better right now? He probably would have single handedly won us at least the Jets game and would have kept us in the Cardinals game.
We have a good WR with a good family with no mouth....his name is Ted Ginn Jr. How is he doing?
I'll take Chad muthafk3n cinko any day.

Suggestion to Mods:

Some of these are valid, maybe even realistic discussions. HOWEVER, many have been already rehashed ad nauseum while others are just isolated individual speculation, .....and then there are those that defy any reasonable logic or reality.

How about a general sticky where to routinely divert and batch these kinds of threads into, maybe titling it something like:

"Pies In the Sky," "Would Look Good In Aqua/Orange," "My Fantasy Wishlist," "Here We Go Again," etc.

In this way they won't be banished to FH's more general, less followed sections but neither will they bog down the main forum.

I wouldn't trade for him, i'd consider signing him as an FA if the money wasn't too bad. He's still a very over rated player with a very big mouth. He talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk, not when he's playing games important to the Bengals anyway.

i would rather go after roy williams
