I have been watching some of Chads press conference today and the reporters were asking him about Ted Ginn and why he doesnt get the ball as often. Now I cant write up with exact quotes, but I will note what he said.

- Notes That Ginn is a hard worker and has been working on his route running.

-A reporter asked what has been the main struggle in Getting Ginn the ball and Chad said that the offense is multiple in their sets. In their sets he says you cant just zone in on one person thats not how it works. The distribution is different every game.

- He comments how the offense seems atypical in a matter that this offense doesnt get the ball to one person alot, they stretch it all across the board to whoever.

-Comments that it takes years for reciever and quarterback relationship to develop on chemistry. He was talking about mainly Coles in New York how it didnt take years for him and Coles because Chad got to watch Coles for 2 years and when Chad came to play, he knew about Coles habits already.

- Best thing he said IMO is Montana/Rice and Manning/Harrison took years to get going, it wasnt all at one instant from the start. It takes so many reps and time to get going.

I just wanted to share some positive info of what our Quarterback said because sunday was a tough one to take. Its nice to hear that Ginn is a hard worker and that Chad/Ted are trying to get things going by talking and trying to develop chemistry. If anybody wanted to watch this its on miamidolphins.com in the aquavision section.

blah blah blah it is what it is. all ginn can do is run a 9 and all noodles can do is pitch short to intermediate floaters...

See my "Enough with the negativity on Ginn" thread, Ginn is going to be a player that we come to love here in Miami.

I'll gladly take Pennington's take on the situation than yours. (personal attack)

I believe in Parcells and will do what's best for our team. Witha solid #1 WR, Ginn would shine imo. Was Ginn worth a #1 pick, hell no! But that's the past, wasn't his pick, and we have to look at the future, not the past. As a #1 Ginn is a bust but he will turn out to be a great asset in the near future, that's what I see. That boy's got talent. We just have to figure out how to use it.

*sighs deeply*

one can only wish that i was wrong about Teddy.

One can only wish you (personal attack)just root for your team (personal attack)

One can only wish you stop being a fairweather fan and not just root for your team when it wins.

never been a fairweather fan, never will be. im just saying i hope im wrong about teddy. personally, i think he was a bust as a first round pick but hey, my opinion.

Pennington is a smart vet. He's making the most of his opportunity on the field. It's all up to Ted how he handles this season. I like that he works hard, sometimes you just have to keep pounding before you can break out. He has to take his skills/advantages to the next level. Same for Hagan, these guys need to start showing some fire, some desperation to get their gloves on the ball. You don't have to write a book about throwing you the damn ball, but you gotta show some confidence and a desire to make a big play. You need to show a certain amount of swagger.

I've kept my mouth shut about Ginn for a long time but it is pretty clear to "me" that something is wrong. I don't know what it is and I am not going to pretend to know. I think the coaching staff has some sort of issue with either his ability, work ethic or intelligence (or combination of the three).

As a Dolphins fan I would love nothing more then to see Ginn become a probowler. I just dont see it happening... who knows hopefully the light comes on some time this year. Having said that, I think that if Ginn does not show some kind of improvement this year he will not be back next year.

I watched the game last night on nfl network. If you watch Ted. He is open often. Chad just never got him the ball. Ted cant throw it to himself. Oh he was wide open several times deep down field, but we know Chad cant throw the deep ball. I am sure in time we will see the guy that was awesome at ohio state. Why he isnt returning punts or kick offs I have no idea. He is one of the best in the nfl. Go get them Teddy!

wow u ppl get fooled so easily. thast a pile of (profanity)
sure it makes sense but to a degree. only what? 8 catches in 5 games? c'mon bro, whats his excuse with fasano? or camarilio? how come htey have so many catches? in teh same time of play as ginn has had?
and rice and harrison were still connecting A LOT and for big plays even though they weren't as good as they were later on.

henne and ginn did 20 times better together then penny and ginn. the point is ginn is a speedster that nees a FLY route not a cross route or nething cuz he isnt quick he is fast big difference and that requires an arm and penny doesnt have that. you think penny will say well hes getting open but i can't get him the ball cuz it sails on me past 15 yards?
c'mon wake the heck up people!!!!!!!!!

you guys do realize he is a 2nd year wr who was thrown into a trash team his rookie year and played db most his life right?
i just hope when he caught that nice td vs the giants last year all you haters said right away "he still sucks" and when he took the punt back last year you guys said right away "what a bust" and when he took the preseason one vs the Kc you guys didnt come on finheaven.com and say "OMG DID YOU SEE GINN".. .
lets remember he is not gettin thrown into the most prolific O in the league here...
He is a player who should not of been drafted that high seeing as in he was still learinig the position and now is trying to be a NFL teams #1 Wr.

Just as Penny says he watched Coles and his tendancies.......Henne is watching Ginn and studying his tendancies. I think Ginn sticks and eventually Henne & Penne will be firing the ball his way more often.
