Chad Pennington is exactly who this offense needed. He may not be a guy who can throw 6 touchdowns in one game, but he is very efficient and does exactly what is asked of him.

If this was Josh McCown's team(as everybody thought it would be before Pennington became available), we very well could have been 0-4.

With Pennington, we are 2-2 and one bad play away from being 3-1.
 
still not a Chad fan...he'll always be a Jet to me.

but I do LOVE our offense with him running it ;)
 
Kudos to Pennington. He's an awesome QB, and I was ashamed to admit in the past that I always liked his style of play. He's one of the best decisions our new regime has made.
 
No doubt about it...he is winning me over. He is making great decisions and our offense is consistently moving the ball. This is really letting our defense get a rest and come off the bench strong. That was a real problem last year...our D was constantly on the field...
 
Today was an example of how efficient the man can be... Not only did he play mistake free ball he really managed the game... You see him throw it out when he went down in our end zone? What a recovery!

He kept rivers and the Chargers O off the field... Ronnie got all the attention last week deservedly so but we cannot overlook Chad's play these past two games he has been close to perfect. He is the perfect mentor for Henne, a very smart player.
 
Dude i was skeptical of it at first but he doesn't kill drives by trying to force it down field he will take 4-5 yards and get us in manageable 3rd downs which we are getting a good amount of. This is defiantly the best backfield he has had and slowly becoming the best line he has had. he is doing the damn thing how the damn thing is suppose to be done.

He is a winner plain and simple you cant teach guys how to go out there and win ball game so many Qb's have tons of talent but dont make their teammate better and Chad makes everyone around him better
 
He does have a head on his shoulder. That was awesome decision making when he got tripped in the end zone and got rid of the ball instead of giving up the safety. That could have been the play that turned the game againt us and he saved the day.
 
yes i am sorry for all the bad things i said about penny. If sarah in kentucky is reading this im sorry i dumped you for having a penny jersey in your closet.
