Bill Parcells' latest reclamation project in Miami starts off with Chad Pennington, one of his former quarterbacks, going against the Jets, one of the four teams he coached.

Pennington landed in the Dolphins' huddle after the Jets cut him when they traded for Brett Favre on Aug. 6. Parcells, who was hired in December as the Dolphins' executive vice president-football operations, should thank Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum for making the bold move to bring in Favre, because it has settled down the Dolphins' quarterback spot, which has been a mess since Dan Marino retired after the 1999 season.
What does Parcells think of the Jets' new quarterback?

"I like Brett," he said by phone from south Florida. "I've always liked that player. You know that."

He also likes Pennington.

I hope Pennington can stay healthy. If so we will surprise a few teams out there with our 1-15 team. This team is going to make a quick turn around. The defense looks good and if penninton can stay healthy and I'll concede a big if we will be a good team.

Where are all the Pennington lovers now. He was the worst decision we ever made hands down worse than drafting Ginn.

He just set us back another 2 years.

Damn a lot of people on this site overreact after a loss.
 
The worst decision we ever made was signing a free agent QB instead of starting Josh McCown or a rookie? That might be the worst post ever. Pennington and the whole team suck but it is not like we traded a second round pick for him.

what? Do you have any idea what you're even talking about.

How does signing a FREE AGENT set us back 2 years? So, since we signed Josh McCown as a free agent and he did nothing for us....are we now back 4 years??

Pennington is the best QB we've had since Marino.
 
No Fiedler is still the best QB we've had since Marino.

Pennington has played like crap the first two games.
