Any1 here think if Chad Leaves the Jets we should take a chance on him... I think one of his major problems is his moral being down plus the injuries. I go to Marshall U. the college he came from and this guy is smart and has leadership skills... he may be worth a shot because if he turned it around he could be a franchise guy for sum1.
 
He played very well before the injuries... IMO i wouldnt spend much on him but if he came cheap i think he is worth a try.
 
Jay is that you????Dude cmon man!!! this is absolutely ridiculous.....the guy was a good football player...so was bo jackson...until he had a career ending injury. pennington has suffered something that will make him no more than a backup qb now.....i can throw farther than him
why dont we go after steve deberg?

Even when he was healthy he didnt fit our offense at all. Very weak armed west coast qb.
 
Hey why stop with just signing up Chad?, maybe we could bring back Ears Fiedler as well. NOT!!!!! :tantrum: :mad:

First off I dont think there is any way the Jets can cut him because it would actualy cost more to cut him than to keep him. However if he is somehow cut I expet you would be right that some team would pick him up on a very, very cheap contract, however like I said earler it just dosnt make sense for us to be that team since even when he was healthy he didnt fit our offense at all.
 
I agree IMO he prolly wont be anything more than a back up as well just throwing it out there see what every1 thought.

Yes....but he gets hurt after 2 snaps......hell no let the Jets keep their trash.
