Loosing football is no fun. I sit down in front of my tv every sunday with high expectations, and week after week I watch the Dolphins and end up pissed off. But unlike most ppl on this site I take a deep breathe, settel down and keep my eye on the prize....
People around here are what I call ball watchers. For example, these type of people see Ricky Williams go offtackle left, Jake misses a block, Ricky gets tackled for a 2 yard loss. And everyone is pissed off. Now, I watch the same play and see Anthony Fasano with a great crack down block on the linebacker and think, man next time if Jake makes that block Ricky is gunna take that one to the house.
Ladies and Gentleman, the Nick Saban and Cam Cameron era failed because neither regime was willing to rebuild. Pushy fans want to see a winner now! This type of attitude caused mediocracy for years, and then finally (and inevitably) the implosion we saw last seaon.
Now we have this new regime in place and we are finally doing this the right way, unlike the former regimes this one is building from the ground up, and you have to give this a chance to succeed. If you expect a good win loss record you are gunna be disapointed. I challenge my fellow fin fans to stop being ball watchers, you have every right to be upset with bad play and mistakes, but you have to keep your eye on the ultimate goal of the new regime: returning the Dolphins to their former glory.
