Me and Budd were talking yesterday and i said it would be cool to challenge other members to a Graphic battle... Ive been thinking of this idea for a while now and decided to post it. Now i know we have the monthly graphic competition but once you are out you got to wait a whole month to try again... Also the challenges last a week... So you have to wait a while to see them. So i think it would be a good idea in between the monthly competitions we can challenge other members to a graphic battle. here would be some rules...

If you want to challenge a member you would male a topic like this
Topic Title: (Your Member Name) Challenge to (Member Name)

If you want to challenge any member you would make topic Title like below. Topic Title: (Your Member Name) Open challenge

First person to get 5 votes will win the battle. If you want more votes for a win you would say how many votes are required for the win in the first post. If you want judges to vote, example if i am challenging DM and i want judges i would say i want 2k5, MT and Buddwalk to be judges. Or you can have 4 judges and you each pick a judge...You would also need 1000 post to be able to vote or be a VIP member. There would be no polls...The voting will happen in that thread...just a suggestion...

Thoughts?

also if u do an open challenge you should specify how many people you want to participate
 
Well, pretty much every other graphics forum has them. I dont see why we don't. One thing with the judges though, I think if people want to judge they should just post in the thread that they will judge. Cause sometimes people you want to judge won't be able to or won't want to etc.

i think it would b cool to keep track of each members records, ill volunteer to do that if u want..
 
I want to do this...maybe we can get dm to maybe throw together a battle forum to branch off of the graphics machine...Call it the FH Photoshop Battle Forum...we have one thread stickied with all the records of the people...and the rest of challenges

and tomorrow morning i'll hit up mindwarp on aim and see what he thinks bout it...we may be battling by tomorrow :wink: :wink: :wink:
 
Ooo great idea with the records. We should keep head-to-head records and overall records. It might be a little hard to keep track of though. Especially with just one person.

Edit: and opponents overall win percentage

calculator for that...I can keep track of all the battle things...I say first to 5-10 votes should be good...also people that participate can put something like this in there sig
