I have seen this guy drop WAY too many balls that an "elite" WR must catch. He dropped another one on Sun at the swamp. I'm not saying that Miami would've won with that catch, but if this guy is a number one he needs to make those clutch catches. I really am starting to think that he may really only be an excellent number two and not really number one material. Thoughts?
 
i agree. He needs to play more consistent if this team will go anywhere this season.
 
he is not an elite WR. he has NEVER had a one thousand yard receiving season.

i've seen a lot people say over time that they think that chambers is one of the most underrated players on the Dolphins and in the league. Personally, I love the guy, but he is overrated. I've seen his name on lists of the top 10 WRs in the league, he just does not play consistently to that level. I've only ever seen him take over one game and that was against Dallas a few years back.
 
Saban should make chambers carry a glued football 24-7 until the bum stops dropping passes like it was hot coal!!!!
 
I'm no longer holding my breath waiting on CC to step up.

I've been saying that same thing. He's one of my favorite players but he is overrated. He definatly needs to step it up. He has the talent. If he could just be more consistent.

I'm not saying his TO or Randy Moss but when i look at those two stat lines i'm expecting to see 7 for 120 with a TD. They normally deliver that.

There are other WRs that perform like that... Holt, Chad Johnson, Javon Walker, Darrell Jackson, Andre Johnson (even though he has gone missing this year for my fantasy team).

atm, i'm happy to see 5 for 80 with a TD for CC, thats a great week for him atm. I know our passing game has been non existent for a few years, but CC doesnt strike me as a 'give me the ball' WR like TO, Randy and Chad, who are pretty much the best in the business.

Actually he has NEVER had a thousand yard season...wich is not my biggest concern but he does need to pick his game up.

Funny how things change from week to week. Last week I get slammed for putting Chambers down. This week everyone is putting Chambers down.

lol, i've always said it about CC.. he's still one of my favorite players.

I only reiterated my feelings because I can get away with it this week.. you're right tho, i've been slammed before for saying a bad word abour CC.
 
I've seen him have drops, but I don't know what's wrong. I've never seen him be this ineffective before. Hopefully someone lights a fire under him, you would think that he would get himself going after such a ****ty performance. Hopefully sunday against Carolina, Chambers will be fired up and ready to play to his talent.
