THis may be a bit premature, but after todays performance I think Chambers will have his first 1,000 yd. season.:D

Agreed. I like the fact that even though we had the lead, Saban wasn't afraid to throw the damn ball!!!

Statistically receiving Chambers didnt do so well, and he missed a couple of catches that you would expect him to makem particularly the long pass to the 1 that bounced out of his hands. He needs to play more consistent next week.

He still had 100+ yards recieving, which by no means is a bad day.

Yeah, Booker had 100+ yards receiving today. Chambers had the long run on the reverse. I love Chambers, but Gus went to him a lot today and more than once he didnt come up with the big play.

no he didnt...booker had 100 +....honest mistake i am sure ;)

You rag the guy way too much. There was one play he should have had pass interference called, which the refs blew. He got called back on his reverse touchdown! He DID NOT step out of bounds. He was scammed multiple times, including the fumble early in the game. Chambers played great!

Well Booker is over 10% there already.

I'm not saying he didnt play well, he just didnt play like the elite receiver we all would like to see him become. But its just one game, and its just my opinion. More importantly he had a great run that propelled us forward for a win. And YES, he did step out of bounds.

Plus, maybe the focus on him gave Booker some room. All I'm saying is he didnt take that step today that were all cheering for him to take this year IMO.

i loved our O in this game it was so unpredictable which is so different compared to last year when it was run run pass punt. AHH I LOVE IT !!! Chambers is and always will be my boy!!

Chambers got screwed today, though he really played well. Like 4eva said, he got screwed on that blown PA call, Baily(I think) had his arm tied up as he went for a sure TD catch. On that first shot at the endzone where Chambers supposedly went out of bounds, I dont know, I was at the game and it looked pretty close; Saban should have challanged it. Yeah, he had a few drops but he got screwed on two touchdown catches.

Chambers fumbled and missed on a long TD bomb.

He sucked as a WR. As a runner, he did quite well.

He has to play better.

His foot was not even on the line, and if I am not mistaken in the nfl you can step on the line.

Everyone bashing Chambers is a joke, no he isn't Randy Moss. But he did play amazing. He made plays when we needed them. And the plays he messed up, he probably got screwed over. He will never be the best receiver in the NFL, but he will always be a threat. Don't look at his numbers, look at his plays. Watch the gametape, not the stat tracker...
