Except for his 61 yard run in week 1 he has done nothing. He's overrated and I'm sick of waiting for his "breakout season" It aint gonna happen. it's been 5 friggin years. Moss has a bum like Kerry Collins throwing to him in Oakland and still get 25 yards per receptions dn over 100 yards per game.

Oh and another thing. Our defense sucked on 3rd down yester dat 3rd and 7 and giving up an 8 yard run AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!. or 3rd and 18 and giving up a 20 yard pass. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!. all day lond they killed us.

:shakeno: Must we keep these threads up? Finally I feel some optomisim and then ANOTHER chambers sucks thread. BTW if you just watched the game because you had it taped, I feel your pain, but if you saw the game yesterday, get over it, its done, nothing to can do now.

Yes as of right now Chambers IMO is overrated but this season is far from over, there are still 14 games left. Who the he!! knows, mabey he will realize that he isint playing up to his potential and play well the rest of the year, but lets wait until week 5 or 6, if at that point he is still doing horrible then we can say that he sucks or is overrated.

I've been a big supporter of Chambers, but you've got to admit he has a tendency to drop clutch catches. They are facing 1st and 20 and he drops a fairly easy 15 yd pass on third down when he's wide open. That should be automatic for a top flight receiver.

Oh I agree. I have stated before that he is vastly overrated. All that I am saying is that as fans lets give him a few more weeks to see what he can do. Im sure that you know if he has 9 receptions next week for 107 yards all the "Chambers is underrated" threads will start, lets just give him a few more weeks before we say that he sucks. If he dosent improve any by next week I will agree with everyone that he "sucks" but as of right now im saying hes Overrated.

its only the second game bro ...gus couldnt hit anyone open ..yea so what he dropped a pass like that doesnt happen...so i guess i can say boston is overrated too bc what has he done for the phins

No. Boston wasent claimed to be a top 10 reciever by alot of ppl (As Chambers was). Chambers is our #1 guy, Boston is our #3 guy. I knew what I was realistically expecting form Boston and Chambers. Boston has 3 receptions for 26 yds, Chambers has 8 for 61. Boston has the #'s of a #3 WR, Chambers does not have the #'s of a #1 WR, especially if you add in his DROPS. I see what your saying about it only being his 2nd game and everything but to say that he isint overrated (AT THIS POINT IN THE SEASON) is ludacris IMO. BTW- Gus did a solid job, 5 drops? Stuff like that just cant happen. Not to mention the constant pressure he had, I was very happy with him.

I'm Hearing People Say Lets Give Hima A Few More Weeks But I Mean He's Not A Rookie He Should At Least Be Making The Open Or Routine Catches. We Have To Admit He's A Good Receiver But No Where Close To Top Five As Some People Have Claimed Him To Be.

hes no Moss, but hes still a good #1. there are still 14 games left. we all should wait until atleast week 8 before throwing people under the bus.

I think our whole WR core is overrated. They routinely drop passes and they disappear in a ton of games. Our roster is getting exposed, we have some major holes to fill. We need Olinemen that can play, some more youth on defense, a top flight WR, a good Qb, this next offseason is going to be interesting, a lot of turnover.

Everybody drops a couple, remember McMike last year?? He was dropping passes left and right and this year he looks like he has magnets attached to his hands. Chris is in a bit of a funk, he'll come out of it and be the Chris from the Old days. Not to mention with going through the Feeley and Fiedler years, he probably needs some more time to get used to Gus hitting him in the chest with the ball as opposed to having to make some great catch on what should have been a routine throw.

I agree about everything you said except for what you said about Collins. Collins has always had 1 of the better deep balls in the NFL. A way to really look at it is look at the numbers T.O. put up with a bum like Garcia is the real example.

It seems to me like he's having a concentration problem, not an overrated problem. I get the feeling that he is being distracted by something whether football related or personal. We've all seen what he's capable of and he's not his usual self. Overrated?......maybe. But he's much better than he's been showing and his true self will come out soon.

....of course I'am not happy with the outcome of yesterday game, but was " one game " and we need to have faith, our coaching staff will make the right adjustments to get us in better position to win. We all know that Chambers can play, he had a bad start thats all!
