Chambers is way overrated!!!

OMG, you just put Chambers in the same sentence as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, reciever in NFL history ... get a clue buddy!!!

so how would you think rice would do in his prime with fieldler as his QB??

this seems like a thread to just stir up attention more than anything. how can you be a real dolphins fan and knock chambers? Obviously if you dont think he is good you dont watch many games. He makes amzing catches on poorly thrown balls andis a very solid player.

If you want to call Chambers amazing then you have to call Ricky Williams God. Ricky Williams has accomplished twice what Chambers has in his career. Chambers has not accomplished enough to be considered a Top 15 receiver yet! He has trouble beating out good corners. If you go to this website I listed below, they list Chambers as 32nd in receiver. But common chambers has not even produced enough to be considered a top 15 wide receiver.

Dude, that was post number 666 for you ... I'll let you slide on that one ...

But I disagree ... Chambers has done nothing to be held in the same category as Moulds ... Chambers is much lower ...

Over his career, Moulds has been a much better WR, but right now I think they're very close, and I think Chambers is better, right now. The Bills are overpaying for Moulds this season as I believe he's the 5th highest paid WR, and i'm not sure he's even the best WR on there team.

..I watch almost every game and Chambers IS a top 15 WR..there are not 15 guys who have more talent I guarentee you.

..He is held back by the system...through the numbers out the window..he's an upper teir WR..

..Can you honestly think of a worse team to be on as a WR the past few years??? Not many..Figures lie and liars figure:evil:

He has done great for what he has had to work with IMO.

I think Chambers is a legit 1st WR for the Dolphins. But, I wouldn't put him in an elite class of WR's just yet. Several things are hampering his progress:

* Run-First Offenses (Wannyball and Ricky Williams!)
* Lack of legit 2nd WR, creating double-teams for Chambers
* Inconsistent QB'ing by several individuals

Despite these obstacles, Chambers continues to wow the Dolphins fans, admirers and enemies alike with his sheer athleticism in making pretty incredible plays over the course of 4-5 seasons. He continues to have an uncanny knack for scoring touchdowns with the toes of his feet mere inches away from the foul lines at the endzone. Props must go to Chambers and I expect great things from him this season; I'm confident he'll perform up to his billing as a #1 WR on a shaky Dolphins team.

David Boston is better than chris chambers when healthy i think. CC is still an elite receiver though. Overrated? No. I don't think he's top 10 though.

Tell me what he has done in his career point and simple. NOTHING. Why do we keep saying this will be his year? It hasnt ever been his any year except for that great rookie season but other than that he hasnt put up the production to be at least a top 20 receiver. Chambers had Fiedler throwing him the ball but Anquan Boldin was able to have a 1000 yard season with a below average quarterback. Chambers may be a good #2 receiver but definately not a #1 receiver. He reminds me of a Peerless Price(a good receiver just not suited to being the top guy). Personally I think David Boston is a better receiver. We saw that in the preseason. He has also proven before that he can be a great receiver. Chambers has not necessarily done that. He needs to show something fast if he wants to stay as the #1 receiver.

YOU'RE WRONG.

Okay, so Boldin had over a 1000 yards and 8 tds. Than started 9 games and had 1 td. Why are you so impressed. Why do you believe the experts and their rankings. They also said that the Chargers would finish 27th overall last year. Great job experts. Chambers had 963 yards and 11 tds. That isn't to bad. Boldin had one year and now your talking like he's Jerry Rice. As for top 15, how many other receivers had 11 tds in one season in their careers ove the last three? Not too many. Give the guy a real Qb and we'd really see something.

You're probably right I just don't understand the bashing of a guy who does his job to the best of what he can relative to the talent/gameplanning around him game in and game out. Can some of these people stop hating on Fins players?

Not directed towards you pwn just quoted you..;)

Yeah, I think most people think he's a very good WR, but he's not an elite WR, which alot of people think.

he needs a damn qb to throw him the ball.

it will happen next year with our first round pick.

btw gus and aj stink
START AJ

anquan boldin did it with a crappy quarterback in josh mcCown as the quarterback. He was no better than Fiedler!!! So how can anquan have a year of close to 1400 yards and Chambers cannot?

SHADDUP!

I think Chambers could be a 1000 plus yard reciever, but if you lack at least a "decent" running game,(which the cards do,decent thats all I give it) it takes pressure of the passing game if you have no running game, hmmmm what to you think the D is going to defend?

Did you ever once think about who was throwing the ball to him?that might have sometrhig to do with it,just a little!and secondly,he was in an offense that never showcased his skills.it was all about pound the ball up the middle.
