The 10 games Scott Linehan called plays from upstairs in the booth:

Chris Chambers

39 catches for 498 yards

An average of 3.9 catches and 49.8 yards per game

The 2 games Scott Linehan has called plays from the sideline:

Chris Chambers

6 for 101 (Raiders)
15 for 238 (Bills -- today)

An average of 10.5 for 219.5

WOW.

I think there may be something to having an offensive coordinator within
earshot for Chris Chambers.

And maybe for the rest of the offense too -- we'll see.

Im still concerned with Linehan and his offense in the first half. My god we were so out of sinc in every position it seemed.

Having Linehan down there was huge for Sage because after he threw the pick, Scott was able to talk to him directly about what went wrong and what things they were seeing instead of Sage getting on the phone.

The key is the fact that saban can give Liny the look. DONT THROW THE DAMN FADE AGAIN!

They still ran the ball in the 2nd half, and made great plays.

Defense in the 2nd half won the game. PERIOD!

its def a good thing having scott downstaurs......uhh are you sure about 219.5?

No, his math is wrong. It would be closer to 160 but we get the point anyways.

the main reason the offense was so out of sync was because the o-line was so awful. I mean Frerotte had not time at all, no blocking in the run game and pass. The false starts also didn't help, the o-line better start off better next week, or it will be a long day for miami.

Lets hope hes on the sidelines for the rest of the year, If it means we keep winning.
