I was just watching the denver game on tv, and they showed past MVP's of who won the Thanksgiving IRON trophy... last year was manning with the 6 TD's..
but they had Chambers and Feidler the year before that?.. for some reason I cant remember what happened that game..

Anybody got any info?

they wer playing dallas, only dallas, and detroit play on Th. giving. also i believe chicago? but im not sure. Chambesr had 171 yrds and 3 tds ieblieve n fiedler had about 275 yrds passing.

One of the most amazing games in my history of watching Dolphins games. A few of my friends were talking about Turkey Day football, and I started talking about that game. Chambers was a man on fire, he had SICK catches including a toe-scraper in the back of the endzone. It was a thing of beauty. Had three touchdowns that day.

The Dolphins played well in all facets, harrasing Quincy Carter. It was that day I said, "Wow, Fiedler is just as good a QB as anyone."

Boy, was I wrong. I believe it was that following week or there after they got shut out by the Patriots in freezing weather.

Ya that was a great game, Chambers picked on Mario Edwards all game. I remember he cut up the corners before the game too, and then went out and proved his point.

i believe dallas had the #1 ranked defense going into that game

the only thing better than miami winning is dallas losing

I cant even rememebr who they were playing????

It's baffling me!
Jets maybe?

the Thanksgiving games are ALWAYS Detroit vs. opponent and Dallas vs. opponent. and they played Dallas and Chambers had one hell of a game, I cant remember if he had 2 or 3 TD's but I remember one catch was amazing

Chambers had 5 catches-99 yards-3 TD's, and the most impressive thing about those numbers: We stopped throwing the ball after the 1st possession of the second half, which Chambers ended with his 3rd TD catch of the day.

Yup, those were the days where it looked like Chambers had a great shot at being a great WR. That was apart of his AFC leading, 11 TD catch season. :shakeno:

As often in the NFL fans get amnesia. Fiedler and Chambers had good games and we spanked the Cowboys in 2002. Folks can't remember any further back than 2004 when it comes to Fielder. Anything that happened before that didn't happen.

He was also man to man with Mario Edwards all day, a guy who failed to make our roster this year with the crappy secondary we have in place.
