The article lists AFC players who are in the top-5 of a statistical category who have never made made the Pro-Bowl, and may be in line for their first.

Chambers is 4th in the AFC in receiving yards (3d among WR's) and has never made the Pro Bowl......yet he's not mentioned. :(

Chambers is a very good receiver, just too inconsistent to make the Pro Bowl at this time.

I agree, but if you are going to display facts, show the whole story. No reason to leave him off of the list.

Whether we vote for him or not is one thing.....but that page has a direct link to vote, so it will be be the last thing a lot of people read before they go vote.

Chambers was a pro-bowler...for one game. Let him put up a 1,000 yard 10 touchdown season and then complain. He needs to put on his workhat for the next 4 games.

It's not about whether he is a pro-bowler or not........the NFL puts out a list of conference leaders who have never been to the Pro-Bowl and leave Chambers off of it. It's a little F'd up......regardless of whether anyone thinks he deserves to make it.

Yeah but if Chambers played for the Vikings and was left off the list would you really care? Or is it the fact that he plays for your favorite team the reason it bothers you?

If he played for the Vikings would I know off the top of my head that he was in the top-5 in the NFC in receiving yards and know definatively that he hadn't been to a Pro Bowl?? Maybe. Maybe not. But if I knew I would have the same opinion, that he'd been slighted.

bothers me for that reason....something wrong with that?

the other recievers in the AFC are just better. but that doesnt mean chambers isnt good.

exactly, just because he had ONE great game this year and his career doesn't mean he will be in hte pro bowl cuz it helped him boost the heck out of his stats.

EDITED AFTER READING ARTICLE: Burger the reason he's not on the list is because the statistic they used for receivers is receptions, not yards. I think that's a little dumb, because a reception for negative yardage counts the same as an 80 yard bomb, but as far as the stat goes Chambers' exclusion is correct.

Even if they are, statistically Chambers is 4th, and the NFL website is trying to present this as the top 5 in yards who have never been to a Pro Bowl. I think Chambers is a notch or two below being a Pro Bowl Receiver, but on the basis of statistics he is supposed to be on this list.
they need to add recieving yards and tackles to that list.

They article seems to indicate that they are showing all stat categories where a non-Pro Bowl player is in his conferences top-5..........if you look at the same article for the NFC, receiving yards is included.

If Chambers could finish strong, I bet he would end up as an alternate.
