Chambers vs. the 2001 draft class.

I thought some of you guys might like to see Chris Chamber’s stats compared to some of the other WRs drafted in 2001. Chambers has more td catches than any other WR listed below, and with the exception of Chad Johnson has more receiving yards as well. Looking back at the starting quarterbacks he has had, I think his stats are outstanding.







Chris Chambers - 3885 yards and 31 td’s 2nd round #52 overall



Chad Johnson - 4841 yards and 30 td’s 2nd round #36 overall



Reggie Wayne - 3546 yards and 25 td’s 1st round #30 overall



Santana Moss – 3193 and 24 td’s 1st round #16 overall



Koren Robinson - 3180 yards and 12td’s 1st round #9 overall



Rod Gardner - 3069 yards and 23 td’s 1st round #15 overall



Steve Smith - 2993 and 18 td’s 3rd round #70 overall



Quincy Morgan - 2358 yards and 15 td’s 2nd round #33 overall



David Terrell – 1602 yards and 9 td’s 1st round #8 overall



Robert Ferguson - 1459 and 11 td’s 2nd round #41 overall



Freddie Mitchell – 1263 yards and 5 td’s 1st round #25 overall

I love how all the good ones where the ones that WEREN'T drafted in the first round. Among them i believe Terell was the first one drafted and turned out to be the biggest bust of them all. This would have been a good draft for us IF we would have took drew brees instead of Jamar fletcher... still IMO the worse move wanny made.

That's a great stat.
It puts his numbers and skill into perspective I think. Johnson has had a better career so far but has had better QB's in Palmer and Kitna.
