Last year Chambers was lined up in several different positions in an attempt to get him away from double teams...etc. I'm not seeing that anymore at all.
Lately, it seems like Booker is targeted more than Chris is.

What a damn waste! :shakeno:

Chambers has been moved around a little. He also has been used almost every game on reverses, but you're right that they are mainly throwing it to Booker and Welker as of late. It looked like Hagan even got more throws then CC yesterday.

I agree... With Sixty plus passes being thrown by Harrington yesterday and only two that were completed to Chambers is mind boggling...

Maybe because CC was shut down by one corner yesterday. Unlike the Dolphins secondary...G.B. played their corners up tight....and that stopped them from getting open early and often. It's the same way we played when we had Surtain and Madison.

Why is it that every other team's #1 receiver is regularly targeted for double teams and rolling coverage, yet they still perform with big numbers, but Chambers never seems to see enough balls thrown his way?

because he made the pro bowl and thats all he wants....

i was at the last game and i watched him run like 5 plays in a row and he starts off jogging and when he notices he is being thrwon too, he tries.. i also watched welker for about 5 plays and man does he run. he will do anything to get wide open.

I thought it was always the QB's fault that Chris Chambers could never get open. I guess he's finally been exposed for his mediocrity. He'll probably still post fairly decent numbers though, and people will shift the blame to Harrington. But a fact is a fact, Chris Chambers has never been greatly able to get open and to catch passes when it mattered. He's an excellent number 2 option, unfortunatley he's our number 1.

Hagan got thrown to more yesterday than Chambers. Chambers didn't even have a catch until the 4th quarter. It's sorry-*** coaching. That's what it is. Linehan knew how to utilize his weapons- Mularkey doesn't. Simple as that. Another 15 carries yesterday for the #2 overall pick in the 2005 draft too. The guy who supposedly was handed the keys to the franchise. It all equals two words- FIRE MULARKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

chambers had his names called quite a few times, but either he didnt catch it or the ball was thrown was over him ex: the touchdown pass that was over thrown and the long pass that was caught but he wasnt able to stay in bounds

Last year, Scott Linehan made it known that Chambers was the primary receiver, and he lined him up all over the field.. successfully. He's been moved around a little bit, but not nearly enough for a "#1" WR. It seems like he's our 6th passing option right now behind Welker, Booker, Hagan, McMichael, & even Ronnie Brown. It's sad & pathetic, and you can thank Mike Mularkey's garbage *** for it.

I mean, do people really think it's Chambers?????

He got the same defensive attention last year that he's getting now. Stop being dumb.

U kno the old saying

Have a pro bowl wide receiver, dont use him. Nobody knows wh CC isnt used more.

chambers has been moved around, and is seeing alot of double and rolled coverage. that's why booker is getting open.

Did anyone else think on that long pass that was overthrown that Chambers looked up and slowed down, but if he had continued full speed, it would have been a perfect hook up? H

e just probably is used to have to turning around and come back to balls with the noodle arms he started with.
