For a variety of reasons, really haven't been able to make a mock recently, but gonna do one today. Comments as always welcomed and encouraged...

1.LA Rams-Jared Goff QB, Cal- Goff is a guy everybody was high on after his sophomore year. Personally, Goff did not make the strides I'd have liked to see from a QB whose considered a top 10 pick let alone a guy who is going first overall. Still, Goff has talent and could be very good. Rams have needed a QB for awhile since Sam Bradford was always an injury concern and then Nick Folk being a complete dud.

2.Philadelphia Eages- Carson Wents QB, North Dakota State- Here in PA the rumblings for about a month were that Doug Pederson was in love with Wentz. Tools wise, Wentz has everything you like in a QB, but is he ready to start? Either way, Eagles made the move to get the man they coveted.

3.San Diego Chargers-DeForrest Buckner DE, Oregon- Personally, think the Chargers should either go with Tunsil or Ramsey, but the hot rumor right now is the Chargers love Buckner. I'm going with the hot rumor.

4.Dallas Cowboys-Joey Bosa DE Ohio State- Jalen Ramsey is tempting... very tempting... but Cowboys need a pass rusher in the worst way especially with Greg Hardy gone and Randy Gregory being suspended.

5.Jacksonville Jaguars- Jalen Ramsey CB/S, Florida State
- Jags have been a busy team this offseason, but they still need some secondary help. Prince Amukamura is always an injury concern so the team will give Ramsey a shot at being a press CB. Team would love for a DE to fall.

6.Baltimore Ravens Laremy Tunsil, OT Ole Miss- The Ravens saw some struggles on the OL this year, especially with Ricky Wagner struggling to come back from injury. If Tunsil falls, I can't see them passing.

7.San Francisco 49ers Ronnie Stanley OT, Notre Dame- 9ers can go a number of ways. Suring up the OL seems like the best way to start.

8.Cleveland Browns- Myles Jack LB, UCLA
- Browns are in a unique spot, they can go a ton of different ways including Paxton Lynch (Who I've heard Hue Jackson likes but the Front Office does not) Think they go BPA and pray Jack stays healthy.

9.Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Leonard Floyd DE/OLB, Georgia-
This pick could easily be VH3 but based on rumors the Bucs are in the mind set of Jalen Ramsey or pass rush. Charlie Campbell (who has sources in the Tampa FO) believes they'll go pass rush, so I'm going follow his lead.

10.New York Giants-Darron Lee LB Ohio State-
Giants really like Ronnie Stanley and if he falls to them he'll be the pick. Jack Conklin is also a possibilty. VH3 gets passed up here just cause of the big contracts Janoris Jenkins and DRC have. The Giants need talent in their LB corp though.

11.Chicago Bears-Ezekial Elliot RB, Ohio State-
The bears love Leonard Floyd, and could go pass rusher here, but they did lose Matt Forte and Jeremy Langford was just okay as a rookie, but adding someone like Elliot is hard to pass up.

12.New Orleans Saints-Sheldon Rankins DT, Louisville-
Saints need DL help, Rankins is arguably the best available.

13.Miami Dolphins-Vernon Hargraves III CB, Florida- This is stretching it a bit, and I'm being a bit of a homer here, but based on everything I'm hearing the chances of VH3 falling to 13 are better than expected. Long story short, this depends completely on Tampa and the Giants. If VH3 or Elliot aren't there, look at Eli Apple or Reggie Ragland.

14.Oakland Raiders-Eli Apple CB, Ohio State-Oakland will gladly take a young CB with potential.

15.Tennessee Titans-Jack Conklin OT, Michigan State-Rumors are the Titans traded back with an eye on Conklin or Taylor Decker being available. Conklin falls, Titans are happy.

16.Detroit Lions-Jarran Reed DT, Alabama-
Lions beef up their interior as Ngata isn't getting any younger.

17.Atlanta Falcons- Karl Joseph S, West Virginia
- Ideally the Falcons would love to take Darron Lee. In this scenario that's not happening. Ravens could go Ragland but want more speed on defense. Safety is a bit week, so Joseph makes sense.

18.Indianapolis Colts-Ryan Kelly C, Alabama- The Colts honestly have been worse than us when it comes to protecting their QB. While Taylor Decker is tempting, improving the interior is just as important.

19.Buffalo Bills-Reggie Ragland LB, Alabama- The Bills are targeting the front 7 and are trying to get LBs that fit Rex's D.

20.New York Jets-Paxton Lynch QB, Memphis- Jets need a QB in the worst way right now with them in Fitzpatrick far apart on contract talks. Word is the Jets are either looking on ways to get Lynch or trading for Mike Glennon (which I would laugh my ass off at)

21.Washington Redskins-Robert Nkemdiche DE/DT, Ole Miss- Just a case of BPA. Redskins could also use a pass rusher and Nkemdiche has that potential.

22.Houston Texans-Will Fuller WR, Notre Dame-Hopkins needs help, and the run of WRs start here.

23.Minnesota Vikings-LaQuon Treadwell WR, Ole Miss- Vikings need to get Teddy a big body target on the outside.

24.Cincinatti Bengals-Corey Coleman WR, Baylor- Bengals reportedly want to add another WR early, and supposedly they love Coleman.

25.Pittsburgh Steelers-William Jackson III CB, Houston-Corner has been a need for the Steelers for a long time. Jackson could go higher but the Steelers won't complain.

26.Seattle Seahawks-Taylor Decker OT, Ohio State- The Seahawks have been losing OL for a few offseasons, and this year they lost both their OTs. unless they want Gary Gilliam and Ja'Marcus Webb starting OT is a need.

27.Green Bay Packers- A'Shawn Robinson DT, Alabama-BPA and fits a need.

28.Kansas City Chiefs-Josh Doctson WR, TCU- Jeremy Maclin is great when healthy but that's always a question mark. The other issue is that KC's WR corp is so shallow that they moved D'Anthony Thomas to WR.

29.Arizona Cardinals-Chris Jones NT, Mississippi State- Arizona gets their DL younger and bigger. Jones could go a lot higher as well.

30.Carolina Panthers-Germain Ifedi OT, Texas A&M
- Carolina improves their OL after the Broncos destroyed it in the Super Bowl.

31.Denver Broncos-Dak Prescott QB, Mississippi State-Surprise of the round. Honestly, think the Broncos make a trade for Kap, but i hear if they don't they prefer Prescott to Cook.

And there ya go.

Would be happy with this, we need a corner so bad. I would happily take Apple of VH3.

But as Armando says, our FO loves shiny things, I doubt they will overlook the shiny rb, especially in your scenario.

O line was overlooked for years, LB was ignored last year, I have a bad feeling that we wont draft a good corner

Ragland is great value at 19 for the Bills in this mock

Good mock. I personally don't like buckner, fuller, or decker in round 1 but could easily see them going where you projected. The Broncos would be super pissed if lynch isn't there - so a panic dak Prescott pick would be reasonable and hilarious.

I'm not as high on reed, robinson, or kelly either but that might be my bias. Saban gets every ounce of talent out of those kids - and they get over drafted accordingly every year. 1st round is too rich for my blood on all 3. I don't see a dareus, hightower, or Collins in that bunch - 3 prospects I absolutely loved - but again, this is like me and the Clemson DE thing so take it with a grain of salt.

The easiest thing in the world is to poke holes in a mock draft, but the exclusion of Shaq Lawson was somewhat striking here. As was the inclusion of Dak Prescott, who people have been talking about more as a fourth rounder from what I've seen.

Oh absolutely. With Shaq there's just a huge descrepency on opinion with him. Could go 12 to the Saints, could fall out of the first. Such a wide variety of opinion. I went more with need which is why he fell out. You also have a guy like Victor Butler who could go in the teens

I have heard that Lawson could be a great fit in Miami

Lawson and buckner are my 2 uber overrated prospects this year. I wouldn't touch either til the 3rd, lawson especially. Buckner looks like such a clunker out there - he's benefitting from Calais Campbell's success IMO - and campbell he ain't. Lawson looks like a JAG to me - nothing jumped out to me watching him and his movement skills don't warrant a 1st rounder. Drafting a guy based on his success at Clemson has resulted in nothing but busts for as long as I can remember. His value is in the 4th IMO. With us signing an already established Clemson bust in branch makes me think tbaum does not share my sentiment - so I'm prepared to be pissed if we use 13 on him.

Lawson makes a lot of sense to me to Chicago at 11. They badly need help on defense and he's got too much character (in a good way) and too much production to fall far in a draft without elite players and especially without pass rushers. I think teams also tend to overreact to the most recent Super Bowl winner. How did they do it and how can we emulate it? And with Denver it was all about defense and especially all about pass rushers.

After Seattle won the Super Bowl in 2014 with a defense led by its secondary -- especially by their two safeties -- sure enough four safeties go in the first round a few months later in a class that no one thought was particularly great for safeties (compared to 2013 anyway).

I don't see Fuller being the first receiver taken. I can't imagine any scenario where that would happen. I have at least four receivers ahead of him.

That's really the only glaring thing I saw.

I also have Jackson light years ahead of Apple, but that's just me.

Was hoping you'd do this again, Chambers. Good stuff. At 6'6, I don't see Chris Jones as a NT. Glad to see Ifedi in the 1st and Lee and Joseph in the top 20.

Oh people are going to want to copy and honestly there are 6 guys I think you can make a case as potential late first rounders as DEs... but the opinions are so varied it's hard to project. You have the Clemson kids, Ogbah, a kid I like quite a bit in Carl Nasseb and even his teammate Zettell
