Now that Parcells basically stated JT wont be traded (and I know Jason Taylor has said he plans on retiring after this season )but what if this scenario plays out and he comes back to play out his full contract.

First of all our o-line greatly improves. They consistantly open holes for R&R while also providing Beck time to throw. Beck proves he can be a quality starter in the NFL for many years to come. Last our receivers become the core we are hoping they can be. Ginn becomes a #1 and Wilfords stats increase as they havw every year. Also, Bess proves his potential in the slot as well as Fasano on the end.

Next out defense will be impoved. Our d-line got a huge upgrade with the addition of Ferguson, Starks, Merling, and Langford. They definately should not be as porous as last years crew. Next our linebackers put some serious fear into opposing qb's. With Porter returning to his natural LB position and Taylor returnig to the postion that gave him DMPV honors our qb rush should have a significant upgrade. Also our secondary will step up because of the rush and we have signifacantly added depth and talent.

Our special teams have also improved with the addition of Grisby, Davis, and Anderson. We should finally win the field position battle.

If all of these fall into place (about a 15% chance) we would probably finish between 7-9 to 10-6. If we finish that well I think Jason would have to take a very serious, long hard look about whether he would want to retire.

Just maybe if all the cards fall into place we can enjoy the presence of JT on this team for two more years, instead of a Tiki swan song.

What are your chances JT returns for two more years.

If we go 4-12 or 6-10, he will retire. I agree though, if we ten or more games and go to the playoffs, I think he will come back in 2009.
