I love our uniforms. I do not want to change them, but is it a good idea?
**DISCLAIMER** The following accounts are of my own reccolection and should not be bet apon wiht large amounts of money. The accounts are accurate to the fact that I believe I am right so do not question me.
1. Patriots change their uniform and went to the Super Bowl that year and lost to the Packers. They since then changed it again to their current one, and won the super bowl over the rams that very year.
2. Tampa Bay, never on the map with their nasty "looked liek someone threw up mac and cheese" orange jerseys. Changed to their current and made the playoffs for the first time ever I believe, or atleast first time for quite a while.
3. Broncos, change their uniform and win the Super Bowl 2 years in a row.
4. Jets change their uni to thier current one in Parcells second year and win the division.
5. Giants lose in Super Bowl to Ravens first year after their change.
6. Seahawks change theirs and are a legitimate contender ever since then.
On the other hand, the first alternate jerseys comign out about two years ago were not so successfull.
When I first saw our Navy jerseys I didnt like them and was happy that they never wore them, mainly because i saw what the jersey did to the team.
1. New Orleans was doing very well and in very good contension for the playoffs they wore the gold ones for the first tiem and they lost to the Vikings in that last play Culpepper fumbled snap but still scrambled for teh 2 point conversion to win.
Loss for the alternates they lost most of the other games and no playoffs
2. Cleveland, started out great and wore their orange jerseys a couple times and lost every time they wore it.
Loss for the alternates they lost to Pittsburgh in the wildcard game
3. Vikings, bad year all around, but started to turn it around, wore their yellow jerseys and did not too good the rest of the season.
Loss for the alternates
4. Jacksonville, started not that great, supposed to get better, wore their black jerseys many times and had a veyr bad season.
Loss for the alternates
Do these results lie?
Bottom line, Change the uniform,
Never wear the Navy uniform.
