Pay very close attention to whatever changes Interim coach Dan Campbell makes. This will give you a very good idea on what coaches disagreed with Coach Philbin on and he was either reluctant to change.

I'm going to pay very close attention to personnel changes on both sides of the ball.

1) Players like D.Thomas are going to get replaced
2) We're going to run out of more power sets

The good thing for Campbell now is that he can actually have a real shot at being a head coach. Most interm coaches gets 3-4 games if they are lucky. he will have 3/4's of a season.

It's hard to not look at our roster and feel like we just need a spark, maybe it's the homer in me/us, but that we can in fact turn this season around.

Campbell will have two major things working for him, the possibility of a healthy Branden Albert in 2 weeks and a more polished DeVante Parker in 2 weeks. Jay Ajayi returning a few weeks after that, there is potential if we can claw to 3-3.

To expect a total overhaul in a limited amount of time, is asking a lot for an interim thrust into the position after the 4th game of the season. Hopefully he at least lights a fire under the players butts unlike Philbins passive demeanor.

Campbell needs to make it clear if you don't perform or are a malcontent you are gone. This team has guys squawking to the press about stuff for a while. Joe is gone time to dump the squawkers if it continues. Dealing with the Dolphins need to be like dealing with your 4 year olds. There needs to be significant consequences to show these guys Campbell means business.

It's been my opinion for a long time that while the coaching is terrible we have a lot of whiny bitches on this team. That needs to end with the Philbin regime.
