1. This is Numero Uno. Replace Chris Crocker with Jason Allen in the starting line-up. Allen sure in the Hell has more athletic ability. Crocker is always out of position and when he was in a position to make a play today, he tripped over his own two feet. I can't understand what they see in him. I know you may say that Allen is not much better, but I would rather have a guy in there that has the ability to make plays rather than one that has no chance to make plays.

2. Henne starts next week. I know he is a rookie, but he has the temperment to be able to handle the pressure. He is going to have his ups and downs, but he really is our best option. Pennington is hanging the ball in the air so long that the recievers are at a disadvantage when they battle for the ball. Pennington is certainly a professional in his mindset and mangement of the game, but he lacks the physical qualities. Pennington is Jay FiedlerII. And don't give me the crap that we won with Jay. We won in spite of Big Ears. We had a defense back then, unlike today when our secondary is a sieve.

3. We have to stretch the field vertically. If we put Henne in and we allow Ginn to utilize his speed, it will open up the run game. The inability to open up the passing game is killing our ground attack. Teams will continue to play us tight because they know they can recover if a pass does go long.

4. Coaching has to improve. I'm sorry, but having 12 men on the field during a FG attempt is unacceptable. Some penalties you can put on the players, but most go back to coaching and not emphasizing the details. I know Sparano talks about this all the time, but apparentally he is not communicating his message well enough to the players.

i am kinda shocked over this crocker thing, and how bad he is.plus that the coach said he was smart player and always in good position.wow

My guess is he was always in good position against our receivers who can't get open in practice or a real game...

I agree on Allen. Undecided on the Henne thing. I would like to see him sit for a year and learn, and he could use the rest after 4 hard years at Mich. But it seems that Pennington just cant get it done. I have watched him for years and thought the arm strength issue was a little overhyped but not anymore.
Our team is a work in process. Threw FA and the draft, we have made improvements on the Oline and Dline. Next year come secondary and WR improvements. We'll have Ronnie back 2 years off of the knee injury, Henne at QB, a better TE, secondary, LB's, WR's. It'll just take time.

Not only does he not possess a quality arm, he holds onto the ball way too long. Probably has something to do with our recievers not getting open but he looks lost back there. I'd be skeptical about having Henne thrown to the wolves but at this point, what could it hurt!

We need way more talent at WR and CB. We can't pass so everyone stacks the box and we can't cover mostly so we end up behind right away and we are not built to play from behind with this roster.

My friend is a huge Falcons fan and the day we got Chris Crocker he just shook his head and told me that he was the worse saftey in football Falcon fans could'nt stand him, they were so happy they got rid of his can't cover butt! he was toast city and still is. Put Allen in , cant be worse. We should hear a press conference tommorow that Henne is starting, he has always been Sparano's 1st choice, Parcells is the Pennington man , just go back to old interviews where everyone had Pennington starting and he said that it was not a sure bet that he's start the season as our starting QB, imagine what Sparano is thinking now!:err:
