changes in defense

These are the improvements I noticed on defense.

As many have said, Yeremiah Bell is a play maker and makes a huge difference at safety.

Jason Allen getting playing time as a dime back is good. He is very fast and aggressive brings energy to the team.

One other thing I noticed is that Channing Crowder was blitzing some. I haven't seen that much at all since we drafted him and he looked to be very effective.

Jason Allen and Yerimiah Bell could be our future safeties and they are both high energy, fast, aggressive guys that I think will bring a lot of motivation and energy to this defense.

It feels good to say "I told you so"....if you guys dig through a few threads from 2 weeks ago, I started a thread where I indicated Y. Bell was a player to watch and sure enough he came through.

I don't know why Saban hadn't given him a shot. The oinly downside is that he's been injured throughout his career....

And you're right Jason Allen finally showed up.
