I know this is not popular to say, but a place I REALLY disagree with Mando is about spreading the field. The best thing this offensive line does is run block. They have moved the pile vs. some good run defenses. To find success, I think they should pack it in and hammer the football.
Boring. Old school Tony Ball. However, I think run blocking is what they do best.

u r 100% correct. part of the problem is we only have one back that can carry the load. the roster needs another everydown back like thomas - UNLESS Hilliard is that guy and we just dont know it because sparano is too stupid to give him some carries and get him into rhythm (i wouldnt dismiss this - cameron wake sat on the bench for a year even in clear passing downs).
if we were a run first, play-action pass for big play offense even with henne we would have been pretty decent moving the ball this year. they have to run the ball in the redzone of course but thats asking too much. reggie bush needs to lineup in the backfield even with thomas in the game tho. they can put him in motion and use him in the slot. the guy is extremely talented i dont care whats said about him. i know he goes down on first contact - but he needs to be matched up on Dbs and linebackers.
