Landry so far?

I like that he's been pretty aggressive in fielding kicks even though he's made some bonehead mistakes. We got to see some big play ability on the long kick return and I liked the way he ran the opening KO out as well - broke some tackles and ran tough.

As a receiver he's dropped a couple but has caught some good balls too.

Curious what kind of player you think he's going to be for us?

Much better than thigpen for sure. He's made some rookie mistakes but I believe he's going to be a good player

Personally I'm surprised that he has made some of the mistakes that he has made so far. Especially the drops. Though they are certainly nothing out of the ordinary for a rookie. I just didn't expect to see it from him. I pouted like a little kid outta the stadium at halftime on Sunday so I didn't get to see his more spectacular kick returns. Serves me right.

I would really like it if he would stop fielding punts inside the 10!

He's got potential to be a good WR.

But he's learning that separation doesn't come as easily in the NFL as college. And that the hits are harder.

His drops have come because of the pace of the game, imo.

Personally, I wouldn't have him returning kicks. It's the equivalent of throwing a good QB behind a terrible OL and saying you're "developing him." Really?

The good plays should be focused on. That is what he is capable of. The bad plays/decisions can be cleaned up with coaching and experience

Really not impressed. He may be better in a few years and shows flashes...but for all the hype in TC about him "never dropping anything"...he sure has dropped a lot! And fumbled...

Landry the way he breaks tackles could be a very good running back.
Second best guy on the team in running through defenders.

Has a couple dropsies from a rook that is expected. I wonder when they will target him more.

Same here. All camp long we hear how he never drops a ball. First pass thrown his way in week 1...drop.

Also I think he doesn't have the speed to be a very good return man. Shouldn't have got caught from behind on his big return. Good returners score in those instances.

I thought he was our best pick of the draft and still do. Adjusting to the speed of the NFL might take a season but he looks like he'll be pretty solid down the road.

So far, too many drops, and difficulty getting open. Way too early for any conclusion. Many rookie WRs aren't even on the field at this point.

meh hes alight. makes dumb mistakes and I thought "he never drops anything" but hes a rookie and will hopefully grow out of it
