Although I would love to see some of the more complex stuff this defense has, I really LOVE the fact that we didn't even need it against Denver. And if we don't need much of it for a while, even better... it seems like Belichick always pulls stuff out late in the season, and it would be nice to be in that kind of position for once.
I'm trying to not get too excited over one game, but yesterday was an unbelievable way to start the Saban Era, and I think it's hilarious how all of a sudden the Fins are getting some respect from the media.

ON TOPIC: I can't wait to see Saban open up the playbook. We played straight up against the Broncos. Some of the coverages were a little different then the past but the fronts we played were just old school "beat the guy in front of you".
We'll scheme for the Jets though...Saban watched the film. Pennington is fragile and I think Nick will look to bury him early...
