Channing Crowder OLB?

Im stoked that I just got my Aqua Channing Crowder jersey yesterday.
I was wondering if Crowder will start at OLB this week as well or was this just a one time deal. It is not updated on the official website yet. Anybody heard anything?

Yes he will start, he won the job outright in preseason, and did nothing to lose it week 1.

My guess is that he will. He didn't do anything but prove that he belongs on the field.

I've said it before but, I'd love for the Fins to move the linebackers around a little bit so Mawae doesn't know where to find Zach Thomas.

He played very well. Also, now that we're in the regular season, I do not see Saban doing "one time deals". He is making decisions to win.

I've watched the game a few times already again, and I continually see Channing around. You see some rookie mistakes, but you also see that same Seau ferocity in him.

To the point, for a rookie to play like he did....he's earned that spot. And to take him out would only inhibit his learning to become a full NFL linebacker.

This time, Mawae will have to deal with Traylor playing 1 technique before he can reach the 2nd level and try to get a helmet on Zach. That is going to make a big difference for us, IMO, and I could never understand why the previous regime would not change things up when we played the Jets and put a tackle on Mawae's nose so he wouldn't get a free run at Zach. He is easily their best blocker and probably the best center in the AFC if not the entire league. Blocking LBs on the 2nd level is his forte and I could not understand why we used to just keep him uncovered most, if not all, of the time and make his job that much easier.
