He just said this on Sid's Show right now. Still not sure if he is serious, but he claims he is...

If true, looks like WQAM just got a new radio host...

Did he say why.

Ya, he went into it a little. He said he had some interest from the Patriots, Bills, Eagles and Bears, but just doesnt want to make the move and start over. He just got a new kid and wants to stay in Florida (which he loves) and be a family man. He still hates the Patriots and didnt like the whole experience of visiting them. He found it strange to look for a new team.

He did sound a bit jaded as well. Sounded a bit betrayed by Ireland.

wow.....didnt see that coming...is his injuries that bad?

EDIT: Or maybe he's just tired of playing football...its understandable,as a kid you dream it,as a man you dread it at timees

Just listened to the interview with Sid, I believe the guy he sounded pretty sincere.

wow...deep down maybe a loyal guy...could he intimating he's willing to come back to the Phins at a lower rate?

I think he was too burned by Ireland, but who knows. He would be a great backup. They should explore the option...

I can see that...I mean it was less than 11 months ago Sparano was going on and on about seeing Crowder playing in Hawaii one day.Ireland wasnt too far from that.

humbling when you find out no one else in the league thinks you're worth a damn...pretty telling

It's hard to walk away from a 7 digit income when you're a young man and start over, especially if you've got the typical expenses. I predict someone will get injured somewhere and that team will make him an offer he can't refuse, especially a few months after no paycheck or greatly reduced one if he goes the media route.
