I still like him and would like him on the team for the right price if he's really that dedicated to playing in Miami. People act like we've been Super Bowl contenders for the past half decade... We're not that many years removed from 1-15 folks. Since he started we've had how many head coaches, and changed defenses in that same stretch as well. Sure he had his haters and plenty of folks think he wasn't starting caliber, but imho he played well for us and played through plenty of change here in Miami.
If nothing else you can say he's smarter than most NFL players if he's saved enough to retire at 27. Most players who make 4 times what he did probably can't say that.

Looking it up on wikipedia doesn't make it suddenly fit, but nice effort. As for why I'm typing like that, it's to make fun of posts written in slang, which includes pretty much every post that calls others "haters" and such. It's racist on your part, not mine, to assume that anybody who does that is black. Actually, I'd be willing to bet the majority that write like that are little white kids. Keep in mind that you are the one that brought the "negative energy" into the room by calling everybody haters and girls because they weren't upset about him being cut. No need to get so worked up when somebody responds to it.
As for Crowder, which this whole thread is about before you came in and personally attacked anybody that wasn't upset about him being cut by calling them haters and girls, what exactly would I tell him? Sorry you made $5 million in one year? I'd congratulate him if something like that actually came up. Mostly we'd be laughing at his jokes because he's a funny guy.
So, what in anything that I've said about Crowder in this thread would be something I should be worried about "saying to his face, yo?" That he probably won't be a full-time starter in this league, but would be a serviceable LB for a team? That's just a fact. I'm a realist. If he came for the right price (much less than he was set to earn this year), I'd be happy that we signed him. Excellent depth and classic interviews. If he wants to retire, that's his prerogative. Congrats for being one of the smart players and actually saving your money.
My favorite Dolphin, probably all time. I actually have a aqua Crowder jersey I bought at the Davie Pro Shop that I rock to bars and games, so yea I am a big fan. Sure he didn't make alot of big plays, but he just has the kind of personality I can vibe with. Seen him at the Hard Rock a few times, shook hands, real cool guy. Going to miss him on this team, hopefully he stays connected in some capacity. Dude LOVES the Dolphins, loves South Florida . . . I know he could have gotten another job, probably with the Jets or New England or Buffalo . . . but his heart won't let him. Just like i said in the Justin Smiley thread, there is nothing wrong with a guy cashing in millions and retiring from the daily football grind at a young age. The knees were going anways. Crowder is gonna still make money, he is a very entertaining guy.
I would love for them to resign him for depth, but if his heart isn't in being anything but a starter, then all the power to him. Hopefully he gets involved in the media in some aspect. He's made for TV.
Yea I think at worse he will have a talk show down here for many years. His mom teaches the Miami Dolphins football 101 class for women @ Bokampers (hopefully she continues . . . she is just like her son, hella cool) . . . I know Mandich will never be replaced, but Channing loves the Dolphins like Jim did. Not saying a big contract wouldn't convince him to play elsewhere . . . but if he is only going to get 1 year and 1 million like some of these guys took . . . he is better off finding work in the media/entertainment industry and not uproot is family and life. He will probably make more and do way less damage to himself.
