Channing Crowder Retiring...

If it were not for the injuries and maybe the lack of "big plays", I would have had no issue whatsoever with Crowder. As it is, I wish him all the best, thank him for his service and appreciate him not signing for a rival. I personally feel no ill will towards him.

He said he would rather not play for anyone other than the phins....

Crowder was retired as soon as he got a $5,000,000 payday in 2009.

Dude just was not a playmaker. That's it plain and simple. He has like one career sack and 1 INT 2.5 sacks 2 forced fumbles for a six year career. He only topped 100 tackles twice and was hurt all the time playing a full season only twice. He was 2nd string quality making starter money. Cutting him was the right thing.

I am surprised he retired. I think he found no one else saw him as a starter either so he retired. I wish him the best but his career highlights are him ragging on Rex Ryan.

Is it possible maybe he is telling the truth and wants to spend time with his family and doesn't want to uproot them? Maybe he actually didn't squander away the millions like so many other athletes and doesn't need to work anymore? I wish him well in his life and would love to down some beers with him
