Channing Crowder talks about Ireland cutting him

I always liked Crowder. Never forget that game against the pats and he was winding up Matt Light I believe and got ejected. I'm still not sure why they both weren't thrown out.

For a second there, I thought I was having flashbacks of 2008/2009 Finheaven! :chuckle:

My all time favorite Crowder memory was in an interview before an away game in Denver, the reporter asked him if he was doing any special training for the higher altitude. Crowder gave an immediate and sincere response of something like, "Yea! I've actually been doing pushups on my roof!"

I still chuckle thinking about it

What's sad is there were people here who thought he was being serious.

Channing's best stories are during his playing time at UF and the coaches and everyone else showing up at the Frat houses to settle scores. Also, when Clinton Portis guest co-host on the show and those two talked about locker rooms stuff and things that happened on the field etc..very entertaining stuff!

Love him on the radio. More people could stand to have a sense of humor like he does. But IMHO he is at his best when he gets serious. Now of course that is relative, because he'd joke about a funeral, but he is much more intelligent than advertised.

I enjoy his team ratings and gsme recaps

Dude used to wrestle wild boars for fun!

Liked Crowder alot, but he was the king of freelancers. When he guessed right, he blew **** up, when he was wrong he was invisible for half the game.

i've always liked Channing, including his playing career... He is GREAT on the radio, always has hilarious stories.

Man him and his Willie Williams visits UF stories are ****ing classic.

Crowder is awesome on radio.

He was a good player though he was miscast as the guy and probably would have played better where he could be more physical and less mental.

Crowder's biggest problem for most people here was that he wasn't Zac Thomas. Crowder was a decent player and better than many gave him credit for. Likely the second best inside linebacker the Phins have had since Thomas. I believe the only one who was better is Karlos Dansby.
