Hey Guys,, well what is yalls opinion of CC

IMO i think he can become a Pro Bowler..we have the coaches and he has the skill set to do some damage...

so what do yall think of CC..:thanks:

His pass coverage Sucks. He needs to improve, But he is one of the best Run Stoppers in the NFL.

I think that he has nowhere to go but up. He is already a four year starter and he is only 25. Also, last season was his first at 3-4 ILB.

Agree as long as he says healthy, he has good upside. Concerned about his long term health of his knees.

He can't shed blockers, he's slow in coverage and he lacks the instinct to hit the hole at full speed and blow up a play like a pro-bowler. Other than that I think he can be a serviceable player in this league. I doubt he would ever be a pro-bowler, but stranger things have happened.

Not really his first year at ILB in the 3-4, he was the ILB next to Zach when the Dolphins ran the hybrid 3-4 a couple of years ago. It was his first year at the Mike LB as well as his first year making the defensive calls and taking the leadership role. Last year was also the first time Channing actually studied game film of upcoming opponents.

This will be the second year Crowder is in this defensive scheme, so their should be a comfort level and he can possibly make a lot of plays that he was not able to make this past season. Hopefully a few more on 3rd downs to help get the defense off the field.

:lol2:

Sorry, but he is nowhere near one of the best run stoppers in the NFL. Not even close. Crowder definately needs to work on his pass coverage. He also needs to make more plays if he wants to become a pro bowler. IMO, Crowder is solid, but not a Pro Bowl type player.

Average.....nowhere near a pro bowler...

Coverage stinks.....something terrible....knee is an obvious concern...

Excellent at misdiagnosing plays....shooting the wrong gap....making tackles past the sticks...

Lacks the instincts and doesn't make nearly enough plays to be a pro bowl linebacker....definitely the recipient of the "class clown" award though...

Honestly, I'm surprised he was resigned....but they obviously didn't view the position as being in need of an IMMEDIATE upgrade with all the other needs.....but he's next in line...I believe that...

Above average player who has no excuse but to improve this year. I am interested to see if he will progress or regress in the year after his contract is done. What concerns me the most about the position is that while running the 3-4 Miami has always had a great ILB to suppliment weaknesses elsewhere. Crowder is not that guy.....OTOH, our OLB situation is better than most of those times. I think he's still a question mark.

I think that Crowder would start on about 2/3rds of the teams in the NFL, so that makes him better than average. I wouldn't say that he'll every be a pro-bowler, but he's a solid starter.
