Channing Crowder!

ok guys... with greenwood gone, seau and zach getting old, and our bunch of young small to moderate lb's.. i think we need to start considering a big young linebacker like channing crowder. This guy is a beast! currently he 6'2" 241 lb's. with a year or two in the nfl conditioning program he could get up to 250-260 lb range. good size for a 4-3 ...even better for a 3-4. downside is his "off-field issues". I realize that we are all tired of these players...but i'll let u guys pick it up from here. Good aquisition or not? Is he worth the draft spot? Is he what we need? Is he a head case? ...........Anyone?

The gators LB core has not been great this year. They were horrible at stopping the run. Crowder is good against the pass. He can cover a TE 10 times better than Zack. Just don't expect much from him on run support.

The only good plays I remember seeing from him was on pass plays. He is all over TE's. Rushers were getting like 5 yards a pop on us this season.

Crowder is still a work in progress and you're right, is horrible against the run. If anyone knows his upside and downside it's saban.

IMO crowders off-field issues aren't bad, Zook letting his football team get away with murder was the problem. If we can get into the mid-late 2nd and he is still there i wouldnt mind grabing him

Crowder has more physical talent than Derrick Johnson and as much as Shawn Merriman. Plus he's younger than most prospects so his value is high.

Crowder will be a first round pick.If the Dolphins draft him they will have to assign him a babysitter because he has a way of getting into trouble with the law.
