Channing Crowder

IM Psyched about this kid. I seen him play a few times and he was without a doubt a play maker! Did anyone see him in mini camp? Was he healthy? He could be the next Williis Mcgahee of LB'S.

I was just on the phone with a friend who swears he was better than Vilma, before he got hurt. Any truth to that?

MIAMI !!

I thought he was better than DJ and said so before the draft when there was no thought that Miami would get him. I would rate him in the same group as Vilma. I'm excited about this guy. Great instincts, great size and speed. I felt he was the best player on the UF defense from the day he showed up as a freshman.

Total ball hawk.

Gonna turn out to be an outstanding draft indeed gentlemen.

I think that Crowder could be one of the steals in this years draft. He has 1st rounder talent and the only reasons why he didn't get drafted in the 1st was because of his injury history and two stupid things he did in college. He should be a beast for us whenever he starts.

Im actually in Gainesville now.. I just graduated from the University of Florida and let me tell you. I was excited by the draft choice of Channing Crowder. He was our best defender if not one of the top players on the team behind Chris Leak. He will make us dolphin fans proud.

Channing, with his speed and size, is gonna be a good player for long time....welcome aboard!

the question is, has he recovered from his injury issues?

aren't the injuries more than two years ago?

I don`t know, I was just wondering because many teams passed on him for his supposed injury history, hopefully, the teams that passed on him will regret it someday

I think he'll be one of the top linebackers coming out of this draft, i know they talked about his injury and thats why he slid. But everyone will soon see how much a steal he really was, he's going to be a great linebacker to replace Thomas and Seau and will really fit well into our defense.

either most or all of his injuries were in high school which was a while ago so I don't see how it's a big problem. you get injured in high school and suddenly your injury prone

Thurman Thomas was drafted in the 2nd rd largely because of a knee injury he suffered in college. He used it as motivation his entire career. Couldn't stand the guy, but he was a Dolphin killer.
