Miami May not be able to resign grimmes but cutting Peterson maybe make it worst. This years draft of DBs are weak.
 
Oft hurt Patterson won't be missed, unless very $$$ friendly. Grimes, on the other hand, will be sorely missed and Hickey better either get a fair deal done or save a bit while getting someone in FA who can play immediately.
 
There are FA CB options who are VG. This may not be a popular opinion but, I would prefer Verner from Tenn. He is only 25, rated higher than Grimes by NFL and close by PFF.
 
Grimes deal needs to get done, don't think any of us will question that. Patterson or Carroll will be back next season. I think that if Carroll is re-signed Patterson is toast.
 
The last Dolphins player I can remember, who would have caused chaos by leaving, was Dan Marino. Everyone else, including Grimes, is replaceable.
 
Theres some good corners I've heard but all will go too early for us with our other pressing needs. Hopefully cb doesn't become one. I really believe Grimes signs a deal with us. I wouldnt be surprised to see Carroll back either honestly
 
Grimes was a stud, maybe the best part of our defense last year.

That being said, with his age being what it is I wouldn't care much if he wasn't resigned (assuming he wants a long term contract), we've been there done that.
 
Grimes is going nowhere and patterson is never healthy
 
Bill Polian was asked on NFL Insiders on ESPN what is the best thing that the Redskins can do given they gave up their 1st round pick to St Louis as part of the trade to get RG3? Polian's response was that the Redskins should immediately pounce on Brent Grimes in Free Agency.

You do know that we drafted a damn good corner in last year's draft, don't ya?

Re-sign Grimes. Move on without Patterson at that salary.

just dont give your wife or significant other an uppercut over it. we dont want that kind of chaos.
