Too bad for us .......I was looking forward to our WR's going against him. I sometimes question our defensive backs....But I'm so glad him not with us anymore.

Go Fins!:hump:

let's do a Belichick move and pick him up

well when you get burnt as bad as he did eve after giving a 10 yard cushion it's time to move on. He found his niche in Arizona basically as a Jimmy Wilson type player (blitzing CB/S hybrid) and both us and the Chargers tried to play him on the boundary. Didn't work so well.

The Jets will probably pick him up, they could use another ****ty corner.

He's probably better than Taylor

I thought he looked pretty good yesterday except that one blown coverage that I'm not even sure was his fault, which was for 48 yards and a TD. Outside of that he had 8 targets with 5 receptions for 36 yards. Really only 2 receptions that mattered, for 9 yards each. Grimes and Finnegan were targeted 4 times each so Taylor was clearly the one they tried to pick on and I thought he did well in spite of that.

Kind of surprised at this move considering how banged up they are at the CB position. Verrett is out for a while with a bum shoulder, Williams has groin issues and Flowers had a concussion not too long ago.

I was watching the Thursday Night game and him getting burned, thinking, "Ya I remember that."

Coming to play the Dolphins The Chargers cut cornerback Richard Marshall

SAN DIEGO -- In need of help at cornerback, the San Diego Chargers released veteran Richard Marshall on Monday.

Marshall

The Chargers plan to fill the spot left vacant by Marshall’s departure this evening. Marshall, 29, struggled when pressed into duty against Denver last week, getting beat deep by receiver Emmanuel Sanders for a 31-yard score.

Marshall played in 24 games for the Chargers over two seasons, starting seven. He totaled 95 tackles and six pass breakups.

However, the Fresno State product offered versatility, with an ability to play cornerback, slot defender and safety. With Marshall gone, the Chargers have just two healthy cornerbacks on the active roster, Shareece Wright and Chris Davis.

Rookie Jason Verrett could miss more time after re-injuring his left shoulder against the Broncos. Brandon Flowers missed last week’s game at Denver with a concussion. And second-year pro Steve Williams did not play against the Broncos because of a groin injury.

Marshall’s release might be a signal that Flowers could be available to play this week against Miami.

I remember when Ireland signed this guy and he was suppose to make impact plays in our secondary SMH

The Pats would sign him and upload him.

I am interested in that does that mean Verrett and Flowers are ready to go or was Marshall that bad?
