The first winning September of the Norv Turner era has not inspired Chargers fans to suddenly start buying tickets.
The Chargers announced that Sunday’s game against the Dolphins will not be televised in the San Diego market. More than 6,500 tickets remain available.
Los Angeles football fans may be happy about the development. They get to watch the far more intriguing Raiders-Patriots matchup instead now.

so the chargers got a quarterback and a winning team, have made the playoffs a bunch in the last few years and they can't muster any fans to attend thier home games? what chance does an 0-3 team have of bringing in fans?

I live in san diego and I'm going on Sunday. I went two years ago as well and that's the game pennington went down and henne came in... I was suprised to see so many fin fans..
 
so much for watching it in my area, i was excited Miami was playing a CA team :smh:..

I don't feel like getting into this argument again. You know my stance, and people choose to pull wool over their eyes.

With that said, the Chargers game was blacked out with 6,500 unsold tickets. The Dolphins/Texans game was not blacked out, yet Ross and the local tv station had to buy over 10,000 unsold tickets. You tell me which is worse.

I was at that game as well. Will be there this Sunday too.

Does it matter when the end result is the same?

I remember when I was a kid and the games would get blacked out because of 1500 tickets not selling and the local TV station wouldnt buy it out.

But I guess Dolphins fans in South Florida suck not matter what the case may be at the time...yay...sheesh we get it already and most wipe their butts with that sentiment.
 
Well we are going to the game from Arizona and California. 11 Dolphin fans to invade their space! Can't wait! Hopefully they can surprise us and pull out a win. We went to the last game in SD to the disaster of Pennington going down and the start of the Henne era. It was not a good outcome.

ugh....this is just awful....then again,it just insures me that I wont have first-hand knowledge of how bad our team looks....again
